It was Bring Your Pet To School day. She carried him in a little kennel, with fluffy cushions inside, so he would be comfortable. At first, he disliked it. After a while, he was content.
They loved him. All of the children fell in love with him. He noticed a boy who was especially kind to his owner.
The boy played with him, simply to keep the girl smiling.
