Sea of showers and rain
We live in the elevator doors,
In between the sounds and the snores.
We were born in these sheets,
And raised to be beat,
In this little hotel amore.

We would jump off the beds,
Lose our appetite from our meds.
We'd swim in the shower,
And drown in our own power.

We met men, we met women,
We met dukes, we met queens, and reason.
We ran through the gates hoping to get in,
Locked out, for we had already sin.

I fell for his jaw, the way that he spoke,
I fell for his eyes- Oh the way they provoke!
I fell for his lips, of a smooth shade pink,
I fell for his hands, how they made me think.

By the time we met across the room,
My heart fell and you swept me gloom.
A shadow of an angel held beauty,
Took you away, with such fury.

The ceilings started to roar,
The clouds rose from the floor.
The rain had appeared as you left,
One last glance before I pressed.

We fell off the beds,
We ate once again, those acid heads.
We drowned in the shower,
And died from our power.

When your eyes met mine,
I knew I would never find the time.
I fell for you, charmed,
Bruised knees, and swollen lips, alarmed.

But most of all, I fell in your eyes, a sea of showers and rain. Oh how I was blind to the pain.
