The next few days were quite boring, in both Elizabeth and Meliodas's opinion. Nothing much really happened.

On Saturday, Meliodas woke up very late. About ten. Zeldris was at college and Estarossa just wasn't there, as per usual.

Meliodas yawned and stretched. He got dressed into some jeans, a red hoodie and some converse. He put in his earphones and started listening to music, that's all he ever did.

He walked to the kitchen and grabbed a bowl of cereal. Sleepily, he started eating.

Oh, is the stupid sleepyhead finally up?

Oh, hey Ellie.

You are not awake are you?

What makes you say that?

1. I called you stupid and you didn't respond & 2. You have a sleepy voice on.

Oh okay... Wait, why did you call me stupid?!?

Because you were still asleep at nine thirty. Even I don't sleep that late.

It's shorter than how long you sleep.

Shut up.

Ah, there's the Ellie I know and love! The one that is outsmarted by me, every single time!

Shut up!

Is that the only words you know how to say?

Shut up- Ughhh, I hate you. I have to phone my friends, bye Mel.

Bye Ellie.

Meliodas smirked. Messing with Ellie, or Elizabeth, was really fun. He ate the rest of his cereal and pondered on what to do.

In the end, he decided to ask Gowther to go to the park. Meliodas phoned Gowther. "Hey, Gowther?"

"Yes?"

"Do you want to go to the park?"

"Okay. I will meet you there in ten minutes."

Meliodas exited the house, remembering his keys this time, and headed to the park. Last time he forgot his keys, Gowther had to help him break the door down.

The park was beside the forest, so you had a great view from his house since he lived two minutes away, one minute if he was feeling energetic.

He arrived there and sat on the swings, listening to music. Gowther had said that he was going to be late, his aunt wanted him to change his clothes.

"I don't understand why she said I can't wear these clothes." Gowther complained over the phone, with the slightest hint of emotion in his voice.

"What clothes are these?" Meliodas stuffed a laugh, he knew what it would be.

"I wanted to wear a short skirt and a pink crop top."

"Gowther. Stop complaining to your friend." His aunt said in the background. "Hello, Meliodas."

"Hey Aunt Merlin!" Meliodas chuckled.

"Please can I wear it?" Gowther asked. "Is that said right?"

"You said it right, but unfortunately, not outdoors." Aunt Merlin said.

"I'll come over afterwards, and then you can wear it, if that's alright?" Meliodas suggested.

"Sure. Goodbye. See you in about ten minutes." Gowther said, before hanging up.

Meliodas sat on the swings, listening to his music until Ban and King came up to the park.

"Can you move? We want the swings." Ban said.

"No..." Meliodas muttered.

"No? Did I just hear you say no?" Ban growled. "I said move it, kid."

"I'm not a kid."

"I said move."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"Just. Move." Ban said.

Meliodas was about to retaliate, but then spotted Gowther in the distance. "Lucky for you, my best friend is here, so I'll be going now. Pick on someone your own size next time, okay?"

Meliodas got up and started walking away but fell when two hands pushed him roughly. Standing up, he saw Ban glaring at him from the swings. He glared back then ran to Gowther.

Gowther, dressed in jeans and a pink vest top, was waiting. "Hello." He said.

"Hi." Meliodas greeted. Then he noticed something. "Gowther, does your aunt know you're wearing a headband?"

"What?" Gowther wondered. He fingered the top of his head. "I must have forgot. She was busy tinkering anyway."

On top of his head, Gowther had a bright pink headband matching his hair with a large flower on it. The flower was sitting slightly to his left.

"Oh okay. Do you wanna hang out in the woods?"

"Okay." Gowther said.

They spent most of the day in the woods.

Elizabeth had invited Diane and Elaine round to go in her pool. She had everything set up.

Diane and Elaine arrived about ten. "Hey Elaine, Diane!" Elizabeth squealed.

"Hey!" Diane replied, squealing also.

"Quick, let's get changed!" Elaine smiled.

They ran in to get changed. They came out with bikini's on. Elaine had a white one, Diane had an orange one and Elizabeth's bikini was pink.

They were debating whether or not to go in the pool when Elizabeth slipped and fell in. Diane laughed and jumped in beside her, while Elaine descended gracefully into the clear water.

They swam around for a bit. They splashed eachother and Elaine started a splash fight. Diane won. After the three girls got out, they sunbathed on the sun loungers for a while.

And a while turned into an hour, and an hour turned into three hours. During this time, the girls daydreamed, chatted and giggled.

"So you have no idea who he is, still?" Elaine questioned.

"Yep. Though I do know his name is Meliodas." Elizabeth replied. "And that he is the same age as me."

"Anything else you can tell us about this mystery boy?" Diane giggled.

"Don't put it that way!" Elizabeth gasped. "And when we were eight, we used to live in the same town, but I'm not sure if we still do."

"Why don't you ask him?" Diane said. "You've been friends for almost ten years and you barely know anything about him."

"I don't really want to know. I mean, I do, kind of, but meeting him, that's a bit much, because I know discussing details just leads to that."

"Why don't you want to meet him?" Elaine sighed. "I get the accident and all, but seriously? He talks in your head. That's got to mean something."

"Yes, but after the crash, I don't think I could manage to meet with him. I probably won't even be able to face him or look him in the eye. It's easier this way." Elizabeth said uncomfortably.

"If you're sure..." Elaine said.

"Hey, Elizabeth?" Diane asked.

"Yes?"

"Can we have a sleepover?"

"I was waiting for you to ask that. Let's get the popcorn."
