J and I entered my bedroom, sat down on the white sheets. Since the dance, J hasn't really looked at me much. We sat next to each other,  so I shifted my weight toward him. "Hey J, look at me." I said scooting closer to him, putting my and on his. He turned toward me, tears were in his eyes. " Bruce, I don't know if we can do this. I don't want you to disgrace your family name because of me. " Tears started to roll down his pale cheeks. I reached them up and wiped them away, holding his face in my hands. "I don't care. If people have a problem with it, it's no fault of our own." I said watching more tears till down his face.

 " You can do so much better than me. " He said in a hushed whisper. "I looked out into that sea of people and all I saw was anger and disgust." That was the moment I let him know just how much I love him. "J I don't want anyone else I want YOU!!" His eyes went wide as if he didn't believe what I said. I put my forehead to his and looked into his blue eyes. "I love you, and nothing is going to stop me!" I intertwined my fingers with his and have him a pack on the lips. I lied down on the bed and pulled him with me. Wrapping my arms around his waist, he buried his face in my chest. It was quiet when I heard J mutter something. "What was that, I didn't hear you." I asked, totally hearing him but wanting to hear it again. " I love you too Bruce. " 

I shifted my weight so I was on top of him, straddling his waist. He looked up at me with a nervous expression, but didn't protest. Leaning down I kissed him gently on the lips, his hands on my chest. The kiss was getting deeper, but it stopped when I made a stupid move. I ran my hands down his black vest, starting to unbutton it. J pulled away from me, a scared look on his face. "What's the matter?" I asked genuinely concerned that I accidentally hurt him. He wormed out from under me and say up. " Bruce, I, " he started to say "I want to do this, but I can't stop the flashbacks. That man on me, he even unbuttoned my shirt. I want to trust you, I know you won't do anything to hurt me." He said trying to make his breathing even out. All I did was pull him down next to me and hold him. " I'm sorry babe, I didn't mean it. I won't do it again until your comfortable with it. " J got as close as he could, grabbing a fistful of the front of my shirt. I wrapped my arms around him, and both of us fell asleep within minutes.
