Kilgrave whined out when he takes notice of your disappearance on the bed. He flutters his eyes open to see you putting on your uniform and gear. He groans out to get your attention

" sorry sweetie. But steve called. I'm needed in the mission with nat. Clint and bucky"

Kilgrave rolled his eyes and in which you returned back "can't you just stop this hero thing and settle down with me? "

This caused you to sigh out and turn around "sorry sweetie but i can't they're my family. And your my husband. I can't choose between you and them. Thats why  i spend time with you if i'm not mission staked. I'll be back in two or three days okay?. Your free to message stark if your worried about me."

You placed a kiss on his forehead softly and smiled "i'll be back home. I promise"

Three months later

Kilgrave paced around the living room. It had been three months. THREE MONTHS. And you still weren't home. You promise you'll be back in two or three days.

Tony wouldn't answer his questions in which made him worry more. What happened to her? Did she decide to leave him?. Did she replace him over Rogers Or Clint??

"Fuck it. I had enough of this waiting. I'm visitng the tower"

Time skip

"Mister stark. Kevin thompson is heading towards the building. Shall i let him in?"

Tony look through the cameras and sighs out "sure FRIDAY go ahead" he was screwed. Most likely dead. Maybe keeping your injury a secret was a bad idea

"STARK" ((JESSIKAAAAAAH))

Tony cursed under his breathe. He walked out of his lab. Preparing for the storm that's about to hit him

"Ah kilgrave. Its nice to see you how your uhm ah. 'Work'?"
Tony tried his best to not sound egotistical to the purple suited brunette in front of him

"Oh stop with the bullshit stark. Where's y/n?"

Tony paled a bit. Shit. How was he gonna tell kilgrave the incident?

"She's in the infirmary" steve spoke up

"Capsicle what the hell??" Tony sighed out

"Well its better to get you controlled now isn't it stark?"

"What the fuck happened to her?. And how come you kept her from me?. " kilgrave demanded to know. Emotions were mixing within him. Pain. Sadness. Worry. Fear. Anger. Confusion.

"Before the mission had started she made us promise to not tell you any of her injuries. No matter how big or small. Unfortunately... She had an neck injury. And a broken arm. She's covering up in her room. "

Kilgrave sighed. Of course she would keep this a secret. He knew her too well

"Can i visit her?"

"FRIDAY show him to Y/l/n's room"

"Affirmative sir"

TIME SKIP

"Miss y/n. Mr. Kevin thompson is heading to your room"

You swore under your breathe and sighed. Who ever told him was gonna die. Weither its thor.  Bruce. Tony. Or Steve

"Just let him in FRIDAY"

You sit up and fixed yourself. Prepared for your husband's wrath. And as well as hos worried and frightened demeanour

Your opens to reveal a calm kilgrave. But you could sense all his emotions. All his fears and pains even if he was covering it up

"Hey there hun"

"Y/n"

"Oh i see you wore the suit i gave you last summer"

"Y/n"

"And your hair grew a bit longer. Ot quite suits you"

"Y/N!"

You fell silent. You were screwed now

Kilgrave walked in front of you. Kneeling down and cupping your face in his hands. Careful about your neck as he sighed

"Why didn't you tell me?. Why did you keep this all a secret from me?. I was scared for you. Worried."

Your lowered your head and sighed out

"Cause i knew you'd make me stop. I knew you'll be scared of what might happen next. I knew you'd have to make me choose between my family. Or you.."

Kilgrave sighed out and hugged you "how long?"

"Strange and banner said for a few more months. "

"A few more months to take care of you is enough"

"So who told you?"

"Steve did why?"

"FRIDAY. Kindly send in steve. He needs to learn a lesson"
