Requested by the outstanding Gottalovethem1s! You wanted heart-wrenching, and I did my best to deliver! At the very least it made me cry a little while writing it.
Instead of doing a separate NDE for each parent, I did a single one-shot to cover them all. I hope it's okay.
It was great at first. Everyone was reveling the initiation of a new member of our group.(Parent) made a wonderful dinner for everyone to enjoy. That is until I started choking. How were we suppose to know I'm allergic to nirnroot when I've never tried it before?
Everyone was having such a good time that it took my dad/mom a far too long to realize what was happening to me. The last thing I remember seeing is Mom's/Dad's horrified expression before I limply fall out of my chair, and everything fades to black.

After what could've been either hours or minutes, I see a tunnel of bright light beckoning me. Not knowing what else to do, I hesitantly walk through it.
I shield my eyes from the light as I step out of the tunnel into a field of lush green grass. All different kinds of plants grew around me, from nightshade to yellow mountain flowers.
I hear a bark, I turn and see a dog I once had racing toward me, a (breed) named Kyrdnar.
When I see him, I feel an emotional floodgate open. He jumps into my arms, licking my face as I hold him. He's real. I can smell him, feel him, hear his breathing, and sense his happiness of being reunited with me.I look up from Kyrdnar and see two people standing in the distance.
"Hello?" I call out to them. In the blink of an eye, they were right in front of me. I gasp in shock from the suddenness.I stand up and face the two of them.
"Who are you two?" I ask."My sweet little girl," The man says, reaching out to touch my cheek. "You've grown up so beautiful."
"Yes," The woman says. "That (wo)man has taken such good care of you."
"M-Mom? Dad?" I ask shakily. The ethereal couple nods their heads in unison. Tears fill my eyes.
I rush towards them and wrap my arms around their middles tightly.
"Why did you leave me?!" I cry out, my sobs causing my shoulders to shake."We never wanted to," the woman, my biological mother, explains.
"It was just our time to go," My biological father says sadly, "But look you now; thanks to the one who raised you, you turned out to be a wonderful, strong young woman."
"And we couldn't be any prouder of you," Mom finished. "Now its time for you to go back. To be with your true family."
"No! I want to stay with you!" I scream.
"And we would love that, more than anything in Atherious, but it isn't your time," Father says with a kind smile. "Now go with Kyrdnar, he will join you on your journey back to Nirn."
They pull me close for one final hug before letting me go.With tears in my eyes, I turn away from my parents and walk back through the same tunnel he had entered alongside Kyrdnar.

"Welcome back."
I suddenly inhale as if I had never breathed before, my body covered in a cold sweat, reviving in time to witness a Priestess finish casting Healing Hands on me.
I first thing I feel is (parent) hugging onto me tightly and burying their face in the crook of my neck. I could feel their mixed tears of grief and relief against my skin.
"Y/n, you've been dead for over ten minutes," The healer says, "Your mother/father insisted I keep casting the spell, but I never thought you'd actually come back."
I was going to tell mom/dad what I had experienced, and ask who said 'welcome back,' but decided against it. It doesn't matter. All that matters is that I'm back where I belong; with my family.
I'm sorry this took a little longer than I expected. I could not for the life of me come up a better ending, its ridiculous, so this will do for now. But it was, overall, very fun to write in the end.🙂
