———————Shadow's pov

Next day at school, i noticed that Silver whas missing. And so whas Sonic. Scourge also. And...Jet too?
Where did they go? I mostly wonder about Sonic. I kinda miss him alot lately.

In the middle of the class, somebody knocked on our classroom door. Mrs Chin opened the door and it revealed Dr Gerald. My father. He whas panting tiredly. "S-Shadow...You have to come with me, now!" He yells at me startling the class.

I stood up and ran up to him quickly. I looked aterChin as if it whas okay if i leave. She nod. And we left in a huge hurry. "Whats wrong?" I say while skating with him. "I don't have time to explain! Lets just get back home!" He says.

When we arrived at home. I saw that the windows were broken and the door too, the house whas on fire. I gasp. "Maria is in there! But i can't find her!" Dr Gerald says in panic. I nod fastly and skated in the house.

It whas burning hot in here. But i have to find Maria! I skated into her bedroom and her whole room whas on fire. Shoot i thought. Then i skated down the hallway into the bathroom. And i found her. My big sis!

She whas in the tub hiding from the fire. "Shadow!" She says happily. "Maria! Come, lets get out of here!" Maria nod quickly and ran up to Shadow. Shadow ran outside with her with him. Dr Gerald sighed in relief. "Now, are you two alright?" I ask. Both nodded.

"Now, could you guys explain what happened?" I ask. Dr Gerald responded "GUN wanted to take you with them because they want to experiment on you." I got confused. "Why would they wanna experiment on me?"

Dr Gerald sigh. Maria looked at him and nod. "Shadow...You are not born. You are created by me." My eyes widened. "What?" "Shadow you are actully a lifeform and immortal." I gasp.

"T-Then why attack our house!?" I ask yelling. "Because we didn't want them to take you away from us" Maria said. I hugged them both. "You guys shouldn't have! You are just risking your lifes on me!" I say almost starting to cry.

Then we heard vans driving towards us. The van stopped and a few men with guns ran out of the van.
"Shadow the hedgehog, we need you to come with us." They say. I nod. Maria just cried no. Dr Gerald put a hand on my shoulder and said proudly "Thank you Shadow. You really are a special one. My son"

I smiled. I told them goodbye and that we'll see eachothers sooner or later. Then i went into one of the GUN's vans. They started driving. But then, i heard a very fast dash that dashed past the van. Sounded like Sonic's dashes. Then i heard a robot and a man yell "I'm trying to help you, hedgehog!!" The man yells.

Then the dashing, robots and the man faded away. I didnt' hear anything. I couldnt see anythibg either since there are no windows in the back of the van.
"What are you going to do to me?" I ask not lookibg at them. "Its nothing you need to know" they respond.

—————Sonic's pov

I whas running away from eggman and his robots. They were attacking again! But hey, i dont mind. I may have been brainwashed by eggman and dont remember quite as much exept that Tails is my best friend and Amy is my friend.

"Hedgehog, you don't know the truth! I never brainwashed you!!" Eggman yelled. I smirked. I know he's lying! Tails told me to never ever trust eggman. And that i should only trust him and my closest friends!

He told me that tomorow, i'll be meeting them. I can't wait! But right now, i have to hurry and smash those robots into pieces and kick eggmans butt once again!

I spindashed on one of his robots and then on annother. "I'll be back! You will find out the truth! Sooner or later, hedgehog!!!" He says flying away on his eggmobile. I just chuckled.

Now i have to go home to Tails so he can explain more to me. I still dont know everything yet.
