Chapter 12

Xavier Pov

Fall Dance is coming up and I have many girls who is asking and begging me to take them as my date but I have my eye set on one girl and I'm planning to ask her out. But I am planning to make it romantic and sweet as possible after all first impression last.

Today is the day I plan to ask out that very special girl

Camilla POV

Well today I'm over at my cousin house. She's basically like my mentor and my awesome cousin in one and I love her so much but sometimes she can be a little bit too annoying but never the less I still love her.

"Oh my god! Oh my god!" She screamed

"What what is it?" I rushed over to her

"Who's this hottie?" She asked

"Really that's what your screaming about?" I asked in a "Duh" tone

"Like yeah why else would I be screaming on top of my lungs stupid?" She replied back in the same tone

I stared at her for awhile "You know what never mind" I said

She rolled her eyes "Anyway who's this?" She asked

"A friend of mine" I said

"A friend? Hmm" she replied in disbelief as she scrolled through my phone

"Yes a friend" I replied

"Girl a hottie like this can't just be a friend" she said shoving the phone into my face

I grab my phone from out of her hand

"Yes just a friend " I said

"Hmm if you say so" she replied

"Um are you going to the school dance?" She asked

"I'm not sure plus I haven't got any date" I answered

"Ooh you should really go even if you don't have a date you only live once boo" she replied

I smiled slightly at her remark

"Yeah I'll think about it and I think I also need a new dress" I said

"Girl we can go shopping tomorrow" she replied

"I don't know Vicky" I said

"Please it will be fun" she replied

She made her puppy dog face which was so cute which was so hard to look away from

"Fine you win" I groaned under my breath

"Yay" she clapped as she grinned her face off

I rolled my eyes at her childishness

Ping

I look at my phone which was currently in my hand. I open my phone and I saw a new message from Xavier. I clicked on the message.

Xavier☺😜

"Where are you?" He asked

"At my cousin" I replied

"Can you meet me at the beach that we hang out at?" he asked

"Um yeah sure" I replied

"Great☺" he replied

I exit off the messaging app and pushed my phone into my pocket

"Um Vicky I have to go" I said

She looked up at me "Why?" She asked

"Well that boy you called a hottie ask me to meet up with him" I replied

A instant smirk spread across her face

"Okay your free to go" she said quickly

I shake my head at her

I walked towards the door and before I exit her room I turned around and faced her at the door

"Nothing is going to happen" I said then I exited before she could say anything

I rush outside to my car. I open my car door and hop in my car. I start the car and drove out of the yard.

38 minutes later

I arrived at the beach. I was now walking towards the sand. But I saw no sign of Xavier. I took out my phone and message him but the only answer I got from him was to look around and I'll see. I was utterly confused by his text.

I looked around me but I still didn't see any sign of him but I did see a coloured large square paper stick on a palm tree.

I went close up to it

What is he up to?

I picked it off the tree and held in my hand. I walked for awhile until I saw a next paper which had the same thing wrote on it.

After about 10 of the papers which had the same thing wrote on them I approached one that had something different on it.

Meet me under the gazebo☺

I walked for some time and I finally saw the gazebo.

It was decorated with purple and white flowers along with tulle and balloons and then their was a table that had a purple table cloth spread over it and a vase of flowers which was the centerpiece. And then their he was standing under the gazebo with a charming smile on his face with his hands behind him.

Is it me or does he just get more and more attractive every single day?

I walked up under the gazebo

"What is all this for?" I asked

"Well um I have to ask you something" he said

"Okay ask" I replied

"Um here" he said handing me a medium box tied with a large gold bow

I took it from him while looking at him weirdly trying to figure out what was he up to. I slowly unravel the bow, I took the lid off the box. Their was a small balloon inside which had a note attached to it. I read the note which wrote

Pop Me!

A pin was taped on the lid. I took it off and I pop the balloon. A note fell out of the balloon.

I unfolded the note.

Will you go to Fall Dance with me as my date?😘

I read the note over and over to see if I was seeing correctly but I indeed was seeing perfectly. I looked up at me with a shock face.

"What do you say?" He asked waiting for my answer

I was speechless my mouth went dry

"Hmm?" He asked

"Y-y-yes" I finally spat out

A wide smile grew on his face and it made me smile

Our arms went around each other.

"Thank you" he whispered into my ears

I blushed

I went home and I instantly called Vicky and told her the news. She was happy and she could not stop saying I told you so. Xavier and I talked over the phone. It wasn't a awkward boring conversation but just our normal goofy conversations. Today turned out great. But now its actually been a long while since I gone out on a date with a boy like an actually date.

I hope my past doesn't come back to haunt me
