Crystal's POV

"Yes Auntie I'll be careful." I spoke through the phone.

"Okay okay. But are you sure you don't want anyone to go with you? I mean, I could call your friend Sally--"

"Auntie it's just the mall. I just need some alone time after what happened a few days ago. Please understand my situation."

"Okay. Be safe hun!"

"Bye Auntie. I'll hang up first."

I hung up the call and put my phone back inside my bag then left my apartment.

I ran down the stairs and left the place.

I hailed a taxi cab and told the driver to head to the mall. After I payed the fee, I left the cab and went inside the mall. I first headed to the supermarket and went to buy some snacks and some drinks -- no it's not alcohol -- and then payed for them.

After my little shopping, I hailed another taxi cab and we drove off to the Han River. That was actually my original plan for today but I told auntie that I'd go to the mall because I can't have a picnic without food right?

After I payed the fee, I went down by the river and placed my backpack on the ground. I took out my favorite picnic blanket from it and layed it down on the grass. I also grabbed a hold of my groceries and started eating. I took out my phone and my headphones and started listening to some of my tunes.

Suddenly, Stray Kids' song When I Grow Up came. Since it was one of my favorite songs, I memorized the lyrics once when I had free time. So I started singing along. I simply closed my eyes and started rapping with Hyunjin. And then Han, then the chorus came and I continued singing along. My eyes were still closed and it made me feel relaxed. I usually sing when I need to let out some stress from my mind. I really felt the song. I relate to it so much.

"Oh my gosh!" I suddenly exclaimed as someone grabbed one of my earpieces.

I jolted my head towards the person and it seems to be a guy. But he was wearing a black mask that covered half his face and all I could see was his brown eyes. He was sitting infront of me like, on my picnic mat.

"Wh-who are you?" I blurted out with my broken korean. I'm actually american. My auntie and I moved here to South Korea just a few days ago. I understand korean, but I rarely speak of it when I'm at home.

"Nevermind who I am. You have a nice voice. This is Stray Kids' song right?"

I nervously nodded at his words. Why does he seem familiar? Do I know him?

"Are you here alone? You know that it's dangerous for a female to be alone at this hour. You should head home."

"I know that it's dangerous. But who are you?" I spoke with my not-so-good korean again.

"Your korean seems jibby. Do you understand english?" He speaks.

"Yes I understand english. Let me ask you one more time. Who are you and why are you talking to me?" I made my voice firmer. Though I'm actually pretty scared right now. A complete stranger is talking to me for gosh's sake!

"Alright alright. I'm Peter. Are we good now?"

"Why are you talking to me?" I repeated my question.

"Since there aren't many people here at the Han River, I came here to release some stress from life. And I heard a wonderful voice singing, and I saw you." I blushed at his statement. "Cuteee. You're blushing!"
