Four Years Later

"Mommy! Daddy! Wake up!" I hear the squeal of Peeta and Is five year old son as he jumps up and down on our bed, today is Ryes first day at school ever and he's been excited for this moment meaning he has to wake Peeta and I

"Okay! Okay! I'm up" I groan, I finally sit up in bed and look to my son who looks so much like his father to the point that it's not funny

"Mommy, can daddy make us pancakes?!" Rye asks, I look next to me to see that Peeta has gone back to sleep, I give a motion to Rye to say that we'll jump on him to wake him up and so on the count of three we jump on him yelling for him to wake up

"Jezz, are you trying to give me a heart attack?" He chuckles sitting up

"Daddy, can you make pancakes?" Rye asks

"Of course I will, son. How about you help me?" Peeta suggests causing Rye to smile and practically drag Peeta out of bed out of the room, I let out a little sigh because I need to find a way to give the news to Peeta... I found out that I'm pregnant for the second time but I need to tell him soon, it's not exactly something to keep from your husband... especially from Peeta.

I've come to the conclusion that it was kind of my doing on getting pregnant even though we were trying for a baby at the time. It was Peeta's birthday and I guess you could say that I seduced him but I mean we both enjoyed it and it was the time that Rye was staying with Annie in district four because Rye begged us so he could play with Flynn who he's gotten extremely close with over the past years. Anyways, I feel much more calmer this time around, mostly because I know now that this world is better and that Peeta is with me... although I'm not sure how Rye will take the news, I just hope he takes it well.

I walk downstairs fully dressed and I walk into the kitchen, I smile as I see Rye and Peeta side by side making breakfast. We discovered that Rye had a definite liking towards baking and cooking, at only two he'd be making things, not exactly what I called food but he always loved helping Peeta. Once he was four we noticed how much he improved and can now do the proper measurements when making something which I think Peeta is really proud of.

"How's breakfast coming along?" I ask kissing the top of my sons head

"It's going good! Daddy, can I show mommy?" Rye asks, Peeta nods with a smile and I watch as Rye skilfully flips a pancake for the other side to cook

"Oh my god! Rye, that was amazing. How'd you learn that?" I ask, although it's quite embarrassing when your son is better at flipping pancakes than you are

"Daddy showed me how when you were upstairs" he smiles

"Well, that was a job well done. Lucky you don't have my cooking skills, you'll burn everything" I joke causing Rye to giggle a little, I smile and walk over the little distance to place a small kiss on my husbands lips

"Did you sleep okay? After the nightmare you got?" He whispers in my ear

"Yeah, very well. Thank you for waking me up" I smile kissing his cheek

"I'm happy to relief you from them" he says kissing me on the lips again, I decide to let them with the cooking, wishing that breakfast came faster.

We reach the school with children entering with their parents and I become very nervous to leave Rye here alone. I grip Ryes hand more firmly not wanting to let go anytime soon but I know that I'll have to sooner or later... although I didn't want it to be so soon. We walk into the room with other children around the same age as Rye, a middle aged woman approaches Peeta and I with a warm smile
