Me and Hannah walk into the lounge area after telling her what happened. Alex and Mason are sitting down on the couch. They both look distressed.
Hannah walks over to Mason. "Everything okay?" She asks him.
I look at Alex and his face worries me. Did he tell Mason already?
"Yeah Alex just told me what happened"
"W-what happened?" I ask him
"About your fall and that bastard Evan dude" I sigh in relief. Alex didn't tell Mason.
"Yeah it wasn't exactly pleasant" I say.
"Well I'm going to get going now, it's quite late" Hannah informs us. She comes over to hug me and whispers that everything will be alright to me.
She leaves.
"Well Guys I've got class early in the morning so I'm going to bed now" Mason tells us.
"Bye mason" I say to him
"See ya Sophia" he walks in his room and shuts his door.
"You tired?" Alex asks me.
"Not really" I tell him.
"You hungry?"
"No" I lie. The truth is I am absolutely starving, my stomach is crying internally.
"Okay well I'm going to quickly grab some pizza from the store, I'll be back soon" Alex grabs his keys and heads towards the door. I don't want him to leave. Even though Mason is still in the dorm, it's not the same. Alex makes me feel safe and protected.
I gulp hard and quickly walk towards Alex. One hand is on the door, waiting to open it. I place my hand in his other hand. He seems taken aback. He turns his head towards me slowly and looks at me. His face is a little shocked.
"Don't go" I whisper, whilst refusing to look into Alex's eyes
He takes his hand off the door handle and throws his keys on the shelf. He walks closer towards me, "okay. I'll just order in". He smiles at me.
"Well, I was gonna watch a movie if you're up for it" he tells me
"I don't mind" I smile.
Alex switches on the TV and opens up Netflix.
"What movie you up for Soph?"
"Anything but horror", I inform him, "I hate horror movies with a passion".
"Oh okay, so I'm thinking Annabelle?" He asks me.
"What part of 'anything but horror' do you not understand?!" I question him. I can't work out whether he was being serious or not.
"I'm only joking Princess, relax". I take a huge sigh of relief. My life is a horror movie as it is so you can understand why I don't want to watch a horror in my leisure time.
"Have you seen Brooklyn Nine-Nine?" I ask Alex.
"Bro that is like my favourite show ever" Alex tells me with a glint in his eyes, "I've genuinely lost count of how many times I've rewatched it!"
"Omg I love it so much too!"
"At least it's better than your Vampire Diaries rubbish!"
"WHAT DID YOU SAY?" I move closer to Alex on the couch and punch him in the arm. "Dont ever say that about my favourite show" I say in a serious yet jokey tone.
"Okay okay sorry" He chuckles. "But seriously, what is so special about it?"
"It's just my comfort show I guess, I've watched it since it came out and kind of grew into my most important years with its company... I always use it as my escape from.. well you know" I look down and start playing with my hands. Alex puts his hand over mine and gives them and squeezes them reassuringly. It still hasn't quite sunk in that I've told him the truth; my deepest and darkest secret.
I look up at him and smile. "I'll tell you what Alex, I'm going to make you fall in love with TVD, you genuinely should give it a chance!"
"Then that would be the second thing I'd be falling in love with"
"What's the first?" I ask him.
