Chapter 14: date nights and broken hearts _______________________________________
I change into my outfit and wait for colby to be done. I sit on the bench near the bed and scroll through my phone seeing fan tweets. "Damn" I hear colby whisper. I look up and blush seeing him dressed up in a suit. I smile and stand up walking up to him. " Thanks baby" I smile and he wraps his arm around my waist. "You look beautiful baby girl" he smiles. I blush and he pecks my lips.
We take the car to the restaurant and I look out the window smiling. Colby rests his hand on my knee as he drives. "I love it here" I whisper. I look at him and he smiles. "I do too love" he whispers back. I smile and peck his cheek. He chuckles and pulls up to the restaurant. He quickly gets out coming to my side opening the door for me. I smile and slide out shutting the door. He wraps his arm around my waist and guides me to the door of the restaurant.
After getting seated I look around and notice we're on the roof. "Colby you didn't have to" I frown. He chuckles taking my hand "anything for my girl" he smiles kissing my hand. I blush and look around. "It's so beautiful" I smile in awe. "Not as beautiful as what I'm looking at" he blurts out. I look at him and he's looking at me with the biggest smile. I blush and look down. "You're so sweet" I bite the inside of my lip blushing. He smiles and holds both of my hands.

We eat and talk about the vacation and keep one of our hands intertwined with the others hand. I look at him and smile. He looks up and winks at me. I laugh blushing lightly and sip on my wine. "So how long do you think you'll be wrestling for?" He asks. I shrug "at least another year, I wanna have one last title" I smile. He nods "so if I were to tell you that I signed a 2 year contract you wouldn't be mad?" He asks. I shake my head "no because I did too" I laugh to myself. Colby nods chuckling then his face drops "um Kat, I have a question" he starts. I put my wine glass down and look up at him. "Yes colby?" I ask as I start to feel my heart thump. " how long do you wanna be together to get married?" He asks. I shrug "I'm not sure" I go back to eating.
We finish our dinner and drive back to the house. I take his hand and we go to our room quietly. "I'm tired" I plop on the bed. He chuckles and lays next to me. I look at him "colby" I start. He looks at me "yes?" He asks. I sit up and gulp. "I um I don't know if I want kids anymore" I blurt out. He nods and stands up. I look at him worried as he starts to pace around the room. "Is it because of what happened with Olivia?" He asks. I look down and start crying. "I don't know if I can go through this again colby" I whisper. He nods and sits next to me. "So we can figure it out once our contracts are up" he says rubbing my back. "Colby, I didn't sign a 2 year contract, I signed a 5 year contract" I confess looking at him. He looks at me with tears in his eyes. "You what? " He asks standing up again. I rub my face "I signed a 5 year contact because we never know what could happen with us colby" I say. He nods pacing again.
"So you think we won't be together at the end of our contracts?" He asks. I look down "Colby my relationships tend to not last long" I tell him. "Did you even see me in your future?" He asks looking at me with tears in his eyes. I look down not saying anything.
