Rachel and Phoebe were at Monica's and Rachel's apartment. And honestly, they had no clue where all the others were. Chandler, Ross and Monica probably were at work, but Joey? no idea where that boy was or what he was doing.

Rachel was excited. It had been some time when she last had a good talk with Phoebe. They both didn't really know what was going on in each lives, Rachel especially about Phoebe.

For this rare occasion, Rachel desperately wanted to make tea. She never did it because she was scared of the boiling water, and the hot tea pot, and the stove in general.

"Pheebs?" Rachel sang, gesturing Phoebe to come over. "Come sit with me, I made tea." Rachel said as she put down a plate of cookies on the dining table.

Phoebe looked over to the table and her ears perked up. "Cookies!" She chirped and stood up from the couch, lying down her magazine on the coffee table.

Rachel grabbed two oven mitts that Monica had lying around. "This is not gonna end well. Shit- shit- shit-" She cursed when she picked up the teapot from the stove, carrying it to the table as quickly but carefully as possible.

"Incoming!" Rachel screeched, and put down the pot, almost knocking it over while doing so.

Rachel sighed heavily as Phoebe just stared at her. "Nailed it!" Rachel said, sitting down on the seat in front of Phoebe, who was chewing on a cookie.

"So tell me, why aren't you dating anyone?" Rachel asked brightly, wiggling her eyebrows. Phoebe almost chocked on the cookie. "Have you met anyone special lately?" Rachel continued, carefully pouring some tea into the cups for her and her friend.

"Not really, oh- well yes actually! I did meet someone!" Phoebe smiled and took a cup of tea.

Rachel clapped happily, not saying anything anymore and waiting for Phoebe to tell more about the person.

"I met her in a bookstore, and she's very pretty but oh she's just so kind, Rache! The sweetest person I've ever met. Her name is [your name] by the way. She owns a dog, but left him outside because dogs aren't allowed in stores. However, she couldn't stand him being alone in the cold so she asked me to buy three books for her, handed me the money and she rushed back outside!" Phoebe explained, smiling as she remembered every little thing about you.

"We went to grab a coffee after I got her her books and she told me all about her job and how she does volunteering. She took a break from her real job so she could go to Costa Rica and volunteer there. She left two weeks after we met."

Rachel smiled widely. She hadn't seen Phoebe talk about someone like this in a very long time.

"She sounds lovely Pheebs! Well when's she back from Costa Rica?" Rachel asked, clasping her hands together, hoping it would be soon.

"She said she'd be back December 26th." Phoebe nodded, recalling the exact date.

"That's in a month!" Rachel exclaimed.

Phoebe looked down. "But... that was a year ago, so, you know." Phoebe shrugged, smiling somberly with her lips pressed together.

Rachel tutted and stood up, wrapping her arms around Phoebe's shoulders. "I'm so sorry, sweetie . It sounds like you're still very impressed by her. Is that why you haven't dated anyone else since?"

Phoebe took a sip from her tea. "I think so." She said, the happiness drained from her body suddenly.

"You'll find someone again, honey. I'm sure of it." Rachel said softly, petting Phoebe's head in a calming way.

Phoebe agreed, but in her head she knew that she would never forget you and that she didn't want anyone other than you. But the thing she wanted most, was to know what happened to you.
