Niall's POV.
The week came to an end fast and Friday was now here. Tonight I had to drag both Brooke and my ass to Devon's house for his party. I'm not mad about it but I'm not too happy about it either.
My phone started to ring.
Hello?
Hey, Niall, it's Brooke
Oh, hey
I'm already ready for tonight, just tell me when you're outside my house to pick me up, okay?
Okay. See you in a few
See ya
I started to get ready for the party. I threw on the first shirt I could find that was clean, and a pair of jeans. Then, I drove to Brooke's house.
Brooke's POV.
It was already Friday which meant I was going to go with Niall to a party. School wasn't a problem today and there was no homework to do since I finished it all in school.
I got ready right when I arrived home. First I took a nice long shower that lasted for probably forty five minutes, and blow dried my hair.
It took about thirty minutes to pick what to wear but I finally got it together. I chose to wear a white tank top, jean shorts with a belt, and a cardigan. And I wore my brown boots. (A picture of her outfit should be shown. Just pretend you don't see the girl's face from the picture lmao)
After putting on the outfit, I applied some makeup. Just mascara, eyeliner, and lipgloss.
Right when I finished getting ready I still had a few minutes left to spare.
Since I didn't see Niall's car anywhere close, I suspected he was still at home.
So I called him, to tell him I was dressed and ready.
He picked up at the first ring.
Hello?
Hey, Niall, it's Brooke
Oh, hey
I'm already ready for tonight, just tell me when you're outside my house to pick me up, okay?
Okay. I still gotta get ready. Sorry for me being late!
Oh, no you're fine I just got ready early haha. Take your time

Niall's POV.
It didn't take long for me to find her house. I called Brooke to tell her I was here. After two rings, she picked up.
Hello?
I'm outside
Okay, I'll be right out

I put my phone down and waited. I decided to fix up my hair a little because it was still messy. And also because I didn't care to at least brush it or something.
When I finished, I noticed she was walking up to the car. I unlocked the car to let her in.
"Hey, Niall," She said to me.
"Hey." I replied back.
We just sat there until I remembered we actually had somewhere to go.
After a few minutes, we finally got to Devon's house. A lot of people were already there. Some were running around in the front of the house with red cups in their hand.
Brooke and I got out the car and went inside. And right when we got inside, we walked right into Devon who looked like he was headed outside.
"Oh, hey Niall, and uh... who's this?" He nodded at Brooke.
"This is Brooke. She's my friend." I told him.
She waved her hand to him but he ignored it.
"Okay, yeah, I gotta go get some more food," He made his way through us and out the door.
I looked over at Brooke and saw her tuck her hair behind her ear. I noticed she did that a lot when she felt hurt or nervous or something.
"Hey, don't worry about him, he's just like that," I smiled at her.
She grinned.
"I'll get us some drinks, you can sit and wait on the couch," I told her. She left without saying anything.
The drinks were on the big island that was in the middle of the kitchen. I just poured us some water because I had no idea if she wanted soda or something else.
On my way back, I saw her just sitting there looking down at her lap, avoiding eye contact with people. I guess she wasn't used to going to parties.
As I was walking over there, I heard someone laugh really loud from the kitchen followed by the sound of glass breaking.
"Jordan!!" A girl yelled.
And I knew right away who's voice that belonged to.
Shit.
ooooh I bet you're wondering who that someone is ;)
anyway, I'm going to be going away for about two weeks. I'm gonna be flying to Puerto Rico tomorrow and then going on a cruise. so I won't be updating anything until after two weeks :( sorry guys! I hope you're liking the story so far, though. ily all xx
