Chapter 1

Sumzi's POV

Hi! I'm Sumzi. I'm 15 years old with a repuation just like every other kid. Yes, I am a care kid. So? I'm not any different to you guys sitting at home with you'r parents!  I'm finally moving from Burny Wood to a place called Elm Tree House. I was pretty nervous which was strange as I'm usually calm. "You all packed then?" Asked Danny I got into the car. "Yep." I nodded. Dani was my social worker. The ONLY nice social worker I've come accross. I plugged my earphones into my ipod and clicked on shuffle. One Direction's Everything About You came on. Fucking LOVE that song!! After about half an hour of driving we finally arrived, The place looked so warm and freindly. Lets hope the poeple there are just as warm as the place looks. "Make sure you aint up to you'r usuall mischief." Laughed Danny. "Yes Sir." I replied throwing him a sarcastic smile. He shook his head and knocked on the door. The door opened to reveal a young woman. "OH hi you must be Sumayyah?" She asked me smiling. I nodded. "Sumzi for short!!" I beamed. She laughed and shook my hand. I went inside and saw two boys who looked arround my age getting told off my a middle-aged man. The one who  had a swooped side fringe looked at me and smiled. My heart was literally about to melt. OMG he was so so cute!!  Just then the middle-aged man came to me and Danny. "Hi. Sorry. I'm Mike. You must be Sumzi?" He beamed shaking my hand. "Hold on how do you know my nickname?" I asked curiously. "Heard Tracy talking to you!!" He smiled. I nodded as a sign I understood.  Then a girl who looked a few years younger came skipping happily "Ah Tee. Could you just take Sumzi to her room while I just talk to her social worker?" Asked Mike. Tee smiled and nodded. "This way!!" She beamed taking my hand and leading me upstairs. Those two boys were standing there. "Um hi" I smiled trying not to sound too awkward. "Hi I'm Liam. This is Frank."  Grinned the cute boy. "Hi! I'm Sumzi!" I smiled back. I could see from the corner of my eyes that Liam was staring at my legs as I was wearing denim shorts. What?! It was boiling. I started fidgeting arround as it made me quite uncomfortable. Tee and Frank looked at eachother and smirked. "Come on then!" Giggled Tee. I gave Liam a shy smile and he winked. HOLY SHIT I have never come across an adorable care kid!  I went upstairs with Tee to a big room. It had cream walls and  a single bed. It looked a bit dull but no worries I'll lioghten it up!! "Ok Erm..lunch is in an hour soo I'll just leave you to un pack!!" Beamed Tee. I smiled and nodded. After I put my clothes away I put the bed sheets on and pillow cases. In my side bag was a small photo of my mum and her precious bracelet which my Dad gave before I got sent into care. I sighed sadly and walked out of the room. I was'nt looking where I was going and fell on top of someone. Liam. "Oh erm..Sorry!" I said blushing a little. Our faces were inches apart. Everyone came rushing into the corridoors. Oh great now everyone will think I have a thing for him. Everyone froze. "WHAT?! I FELL!!" I shouted as they burst into hysterics. I sat upright on Liams stomach. "I thought you two were fighting and Sumzi beat you Liam!!" Frank laughed. I grinned and looked at Liam. "Even if I did fight you I would of won!" I smirked. "Shurup!!" He smirked back. "Erm..Sumzi you'r still on top of me.." He laughed. "Oh right yeah. Sorry!" I laughed getting up and giving him a hand. "LUNCH!" Shouted Tracy. Everyone raced downstairs apart from me and Liam.  I looked up at those beautiful eyes and smiled. He was so cute. He flashed a wink before heading downstairs. I sighed happily and went downstairs too. I loved this place already!!
