Trapped and entangled within this web of expectations
The feeling of being strangled with a noose enticing
Only the met is left in shreds
There's nowhere to escape, run
Staying is the only chance of escaping
Once everything is finally done
What if what's out there is worse than what's been seen?
Are dreams just a figment, is what they say true?
Staying here is impossible, freedom is calling me
I can't face what's not in front of me
The need to find oneself too strong
My options and words restricted by the frowns all around
Why not give up?
My voice shouts within wanting to be heard
Until I'm free from here it'll go unheard
Let me be who I want to be just let me out of here
Just let the J be free
Where she can finally sing
Let the J breathe
Outside this cage of bad things
