Sunday morning, Mom woke me up to meet someone. Ang sabi ni mommy may gusto daw itanong si Carol sa akin.
"Hello"
"So Eris, wanna join our CG?"
Huh? That was fast
"CG?"
"Cover Group, narinig ka kasi naming nagpapatugtog ng Ksongs especially Monsta X songs"
Oh yeah that's right, sabi din ni mommy dito din sa malapit yung apartment nila.
"Ah yeah, maganda kasi"
"IKR, so you see ang name ng CG namin ay Monstars, Monsta X ang kinocover namin and currently kulang pa kami ng isang member na magcocover kay Shownu"
"And you were wondering kung pwede ako?"
Actually aside from bartending, My real passion lies on being a popstar. I know, childish right?
"What's the catch?"
"Yeah so, ivivideo natin ang cover ng 3 songs nila then isesend natin sa JS Ent. They'll pick a group and we'll become trainees for the ent who can eventually debut. So are you in?"
Debut? This is the right opportunity diba?
"Sure I'm in"
"Seryoso? Wow thank you Eris"
This just might be our chance to reach our dreams.
"PROJECTS should be at my table at the faculty office by 3 pm, that is all"
Or maybe not.. shit I forgot about this project.
"Eris okay ka lang?"
"No Taki wala akong project"
Sinubsob ko ang mukha ko sa desk ko. How can I forget a thing like this?
"WHAT HAPPENED? TAKI ANONG GINAWA MO?"
"Wala Nami promise, wala daw kasi syang project"
"Huh?"
Great, ang daldal talaga ngayon lahat sila alam na.
"Eris"
"hmm?"
"wala ka daw gawa?"
"WAHHHHHHHH HIROOOOO"
"Tsk"
And Hiro walked out on me. Sa lahat kasi ng ayaw ni Hiro, yun ang pagiging malilimutin sa mga deadlines.
1 pm.. that project was supposed to be passed til 3 pm. And yet wala pa rin akong gawa.
"Hiro san ka galing?"
I looked back at the door at ang bumungad sa akin ay isang pawisang Hiro. He took out some papers and gave it to me.
"Ano to?"
"Research paper a.k.a project, may bayad yan"
I scanned the papers and before I knew it I screamed and hugged Hiro tightly.
"WAHHH THANK YOU HIROO, SO SO MUCH"
"Uhm Eris?"
"huh?"
lumayo ako kay Hiro at nakita na halos lahat ng tao sa room ay tulala ng nakatingin sa amin.
"uhm you're welcome"
I looked at Hiro and saw myself smiling.
"Libre kita ng cocktail mamaya"
"Eris kami wala?"
Nilingon ko si Taki saka ningitian.
"Sumama na kayo, libre ko na pagkain nyo mamaya sa club"
"Wow, seryoso Eris?"
"Yup"
"You made the guys happy, thats for sure"
"Ikaw Hiro, masaya ka ba?"
I looked at Hiro as we were walking home. The day had just ended pero wala pa ni isa sa aming dalawa ang gustong umuwi.
"I am.. I am really happy that I got to meet you"
He smiled at me and I felt something stirred. I smiled back.
"Buti naman, kasi hindi na mauulit to haha"
"What the, no fair ang hirap kaya nung paper na yun"
"haha, di na naman mauulit yun"
Since the day that I met Hiro..
"mauulit pa yon"
"hindi na"
Ang akala ko'y gulo ang dala nya but as the time I spend with him passes.
"Hindi free ang cocktails at flairing ko no"
"Madaya haha"
I realize that Hiro was the reason why I met Taki and the others. And they become my sole reason on why I come to school everyday.
"Okay then, libre mo na lang ako sa birthday ko"
"On your birthday? Kailan ba?"
They became the reason why I love being with other people again.
"March 22, promise mo ikaw manlilibre ah"
The reason why I begun to hope for love and friendships all over again.
"Okay I promise"
I know I'll continue to grow. Our relationship will....
