~BTW my character will be in this story. In real life, I'm a girl...obviously but he's a guy.~

Yes, I hope we will. You thought.

You, Bambi, Faline, Thumper, and Flower talked while walking deeper into the forest, completely forgetting what mother said.

You and the others kept walking until you guys saw a group of animals gathered around a tree with a hole in front of it.

What In the world is going on? (Y/n) tilted her head.

"Hey Bambi, what's happening?" You asked him.

He shook his head and turned to you, "I have no idea honestly."

You all decided to stay with the group until something happens. All of a sudden, they saw a trembling groundhog come out of the hole while covering his eyes.

"Please no shadow, please don't let there be a shadow." He repeated.

Everyone including you stared at his shadow. The groundhog started to remove his hands (or paws) from his eyes when the clouds started to cover up the sun making his shadow disappear.

At that moment, he opened his eyes.

"Huh, no shadow? No shadow! Spring is here! Spring is here!" He cheered while jumping up and down.

You all celebrated along with him. He started singing, every one sung with him as well.

This is so fun!

"Oh, I'll never be afraid again." He danced.

Two dark brown legs appeared right in front of him.

"Boo!"

The groundhog screamed and ran back to his hole.

"Aww," all of you sulked. Bambi looked over at you.

The brown fawn started laughing and snorting. "Looks like I scared the shadow right out of him haha you should've seen the look on his-"

He got interrupted when he turned around and seen that Bambi and the others were walking away.

"Hey! Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa Hey!" He chased after them and stop right in front of you guys.

"Where's everybody goin' forest on fire?" He looked at each of you. Thumper's little sisters whined and ducked away.

"Who are you?" You questioned.

He smirked at you, "Name's Ronno and these are the boys Stab and Jab oof-" He stuck his little antlers in a tree and a pile of snow fell on top of him.

"Oh hope the three of you have a nice day!" Faline said as your group walked off.

"I wouldn't go that way if I were you," Ronno warned as he shook off the snow.

"That's where I saw Man."

(Your p.o.v)

I turned around with my eyes so wide. Both Bambi and Faline gasped in shock, "You saw Man?" Bambi asked in disbelief.

Ronno turned to us with a smug look on his face.

"Uh-huh. There I was out in the meadow, say I heard this voice luring me in..."

He circled around us as he was telling his frightening story,

"I'm here...I'm here..." He said through a piece of wood and spit it out.

"You see Man's got this stick they could make their voice sound like one of us." Ronno looked side to side.

Thumper carefully pushed the wood away from him and flower.

"I'm way too smart for that. So I crept up on him real quiet and BAM I knocked him out with my trusty antlers." A branch came out of nowhere and hit him on the side of his face also stuffing pine cones in his mouth.

Everyone laughed at him. Including me.

This guy can't be serious!

Ronno spits them out and trudged towards us. I can tell he was pretty embarrassed.

"That's quite a story," Faline said softly.

"Oh, you think so?" Ronno started to regain his confidence as she said those words.

"Mm-hmm, it's uh unbelievable.."

"Yeah, unbelievable." Bambi agreed.

Ronno's smile dropped, "You callin' me a liar? Oh, you wanna spar huh?" Ronno got in a 'fighting' stance and started bouncing.

Bambi leaned away a little, "Umm no!"

"Clober (?) him Bambi!" Thumper yells as he swings a punch but ends up making himself spin around and fall over.

"Bambi, isn't that a girl's name?" Ronno chuckled.

I turned to Bambi, he had a frown on his face and his eyebrows furrowed.

I only met these guys and so much has happened! What in the world is going on?

"Let's go. Just a little friendly competition." While he was saying that, Ronno was backing Bambi to a tree.

"Ronno..." a soft heavenly voice called out. All of us perked up to see a doe standing in the distance.

Mother! I forgot about her! Oh no.

"Coming mother." He whined.

"Yeah, maybe you should get going," I said as a walked closer to Ronno and Bambi.

"Jeez I was only playing around with him isn't that right Bambi?" Ronno joked.

"Ronno." The doe called out again.

"I'm coming! ugh, mom how many times do I have to tell you don't interrupt me when I'm tryna' make new friends."

"I'm sorry dear." He and his mother then walked off.

"You big mama's boy! Why don't you run back to your mama you big ol' mama's boy! Thumper teased.

"Thumper..." Another heavenly voice called.

"Coming mama, gotta go, see ya, Bambi!"

"So tell me what did the groundhog say?" Thumper's mother asked and she and her family hopped away.

"Bambi!" I yelled to get his attention.

Bambi got off the tree and stood up to regain himself of what just happened.

He turned his head over in my direction, "Yeah (y/n)?"

"We have to get back to our parents! They told us not to be out here for too long!" I stated.

The realization just came when his ears started to stand up.

"Oh dear, we do! Let's go (y/n)"

Both of us bid our goodbyes to Faline and started to run off in the direction we came from. Today was a great day...
