Arabelle is the cousin of both Tom Riddle and Abraxas Malfoy. She is the heir of Slytherin with Tom as being the descendant of The Salazar Slytherin. Her father contains the blood of slytherin and it is passed down to her. She is one of the two girls who can 'tame' Tom. The other Girl is Juliet Weasley a Gryfindor and a great friend of Arabelle.
Arabelle is also powerful and people sometimes underestimate her easily saying that she is a girl with a pretty face who doesn't know what she's talking about. But they'd be careful because you don't wanna mess with Arabelle Gaunt. Even Tom wouldn't dare accuse her.
