ALL ALONE

All alone, I'm in the dark

I hide in the corner

All alone, not even a spark

There is no mourner

All alone, I feel like I'm dying

I sit, knees pressed to my face

All alone, I look down crying

I'm not even wanted in this place

All alone, with a heart crushed

I try to pick up all of the pieces

All alone, my voice is hushed

I search for where my peace is

All alone, no one is around

I stand, looking into the dark

All alone, I'm forward bound

All is silent, not even a lark
