The Order were all gathered around a wooden table in the Order Hall, as Jesse explained everything Allison told her, to the others.

"So... Olivia basically just... disappeared?" Petra asked with a confused expression.

"She literally just left Redstonia without anybody seeing her leave." Jesse said.

"That doesn't sound like Olivia." Lukas pointed out.

"Exactly, that's why I'm concerned." Jesse said. "I can't help but wonder if... if this cloaked figure had anything to do with her disappearance."

Everyone fell silent, their faces falling in concern.

"And we still have no lead on this guy." Jesse said softly.

She felt the pressure of everybody's gazes on her. As they always did, they turned to her for the next move. But honestly Jesse didn't know what to do. She's been back in Beacontown for almost a week now, and she had no clue who they were up against. They've literally only seen him once, and barely escaped with their lives. She had no idea what to do. Petra's life depended on her. Olivia could be in grave danger because of her. Or she could be...

Jesse inhaled deeply, instantly attempting to discard the thought.

That's when all the pressure, stress and lack of energy finally came down on Jesse. Leaning her head onto her hands, she gave into the desperation, and started to cry. She didn't care that the whole order, as well as Radar were watching her.

Everybody was slightly shocked. Jesse never showed how scared she actually felt, she always hid it beneath a thick layer of confidence. This was a side she rarely showed.

"Aw, buddy, don't cry." Axel said, as Jesse continued to sob into her hands.

She felt somebody put their hand on her back, but Jesse didn't even look up. She didn't want to look her friends in the eyes. Not when she as good as failed.

"Jesse, it's OK, we're going to beat this jerk, just like every other time." Petra said. She was the one who had touched Jesse.

"This isn't like every other time." Jesse sobbed, shaking her head. "For once I... I just don't know what to do!"

With that, Jesse stood up quickly, walking away.

"Jesse, wait!" Petra called, jumping up and jogging after Jesse.

She found Jesse in the treasure hall, staring out of the big glass windows.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Petra asked, standing beside Jesse.

"You're seriously asking me that?" Jesse asked gloomily, still staring out at the snowy back garden.

"I know you're upset, but you usually don't act this way." Petra explained. "You're that one person in the group who never gives up. It's what I've always liked about you."

"I'm not giving up just yet." Jesse said firmly, gritting her teeth. "I'm not giving up, if it ends me."

Petra smiled. "There's the Jesse I know." She said softly.

"It's just... Petra, what are we going to do next?" Jesse asked, turning to look Petra in the eye. "Everybody's looking at me to lead, like they always do. But I'm out of options for once."

"You'll figure something out." Petra said reassuringly. "You're Jesse, after all, aren't you? You always figure something out!"

"How can you be so optimistic?" Jesse whispered.

Petra tilted her head and gave Jesse a cheeky grin. "Oh that? It's a pesky trait I picked up from you."

This managed to make Jesse grin.

"Just look at this-" Petra grabbed Jesse's hand and pulled her into the centre of the room. She held her arms out to both sides, gesturing towards all the treasures.

"Jesse, you're optimism, you're determination – and my fighting skills of course – is what got us every one of these memories."

Jesse couldn't help but smile. Petra pulled Jesse towards the closest trophy, which happened to be the glimmering dark purple Nether Star.

"Who went in and destroyed the command block, without any of her friends by her side, hmm? And-"

Petra grabbed Jesse's hand pulling her over to the row of items they have received in the portal network.

"When we were trapped in the portal hallway, and Lukas was getting all anxious, and Ivor was just all moody and I was all cranky, who was the one who remained positive we would find our way home?"

Petra took Jesse firmly by the shoulders. "And who was it who delivered that famous, final blow on the Admin himself?"

Jesse smiled and looked down at her feet. "Me." She finally said.

"Exactly, and it's you who's going to destroy this new threat. Come hell or high water, Jesse always wins." Petra said firmly.

Jesse looked up at her friend and smiled. "Thank you, Petra. I needed that." She said, before holding her arms out.

Petra stepped forward, allowing Jesse to pull her into a tight hug, before she gave a playful sigh.

"And who was it who could make even my epic speaches sappy at the end?" Petra asked, grinning at Jesse.

"Well, well, things are getting interesting, aren't they?" A familiar voice asked. Jesse and Petra both swung in the direction the voice came from, to see a figure step out of the shadows and into full view.

A filler with a cliffhanger, yay! XDD

Sorry, I noticed this one is really short once again >.< Originally this chapter and the next chapter, were one. But I had to split them up for... - cue dramatic music -  plot reasons. >:3

I'm going to say this now, the next chapter is very plot driven, very important to the story. I'm guessing you can see in which direction it's going, judging by this cliffhanger, lol. This guy just appears every where on the right time, hmm?
Don't worry, there's even a reason for that and it will be explained in the future XD

Also, why does it for some reason cracks me up, that only two chapters ago Jesse had to comfort Petra and now vice versa? I love the contrast in how they cheer each other up, it's great XD

Anyhow that's all I have to say chapter based. But don't run away yet, I wanna ask you guys a question XD
Ok so, I've asked this in quite some places, but usually only one person, or none at all reply, so imma just go ahead and ask it in here, lol.

So, a lot of you know I'm having an issue where I'm just too motivated XD I didn't want to do this, but I think I might start another book here on Wattpad. (It's already drafted past halfway.) The question is, will you guys be interested?
A lot of people just says "Oh, if you want to do it - go for it!"

While I appreciate that kind of support, I'd like a straight answer. Would you be interested in reading another book, along with Secrets Beneath the Lies? Or would you prefer I finish this one first?

It won't be affecting the upload rate of Secrets Beneath the Lies or my one shot book. I just don't want to post it, when people actually prefer to finish this one first. It's not a very long book, this next one, I think it might be about 15 chapters only. But I still don't want to post it, if you guys aren't interested in reading it along with this one.

I'll post this new book's blurp in my randomness book, for those who perhaps want to get an idea of what it is about, first.

Soo, sorry for this long author's note XD I'm really excited to hear you guys's opinion on this!
Hope you enjoyed, and I'll see ya'll next time!
