Did I dream that fateful night?
I but remember the glare,
That happened to spike my fright,
Piercing me more than I'd care.
There were those lights
High in the sky.
In me no fight,
Rather just fly.
Ready was I
To run away,
Were not this eye
Keeping me prey.
I woke up the next morning,
Thinking this a bad nightmare.
Followed my daily routine,
But by my side, you were there...
