Drinks on Me

Caitlin walked into the bar and saw Barry sitting with a lot of bottles of beers on the table.

"Barry???"
She said upon seeing him

"Cait!"
"I'm glad you came"

"Yeah"
"I had my own reasons to go here so..."

"Why?"
"What happened?"

She sat down and ordered a glass of bourbon

"Wow"
"Bourbon? Really?"
"What kind of reason do you have that made you order a bourbon?"

"Can we talk about this later?"

"Whaaat?"
"Why not now?"

"Because we have to talk about you"
"You only show up when we have to catch a meta and that was weeks ago! We haven't seen each other for weeks!"
"You didn't return our texts, our calls"
"You just shut us off from your world every now and then"

"I'm sorry"
"I'm sorry if I didn't answer your phone calls and text messages"
"I intended to ignore them"

"I want to get over it"

He said

Caitlin's bourbon came

"So cheers Barry!"
She drank all the bourbon

"Yeah cheers"
"But why are you the only one that'll get drunk?"
"Can I get rid of this powers to get drunk just for once?!"

"Wooh"
"That was strong, very strong"
She grabbed two bottles

"And that's why I also brought this"
"Your personalized alcohol, Cisco tried to concoct a variation of alcohol that can counteract the speedster's metabolism"
"I hope this will work well"
"If it does, you'll feel twice buzzed with one drink"
She explained

"Oh god, that's great"
"Thank you so much"
"God I love you and Cisco"
He drank one bottle

"How is it?"

"Woooh"
"Wow"
"Crap"

"Well, it worked"

Caitlin ordered a beer for her and started to add to her tap

"No"
"Caitlin..."
"No, a tap again??? How many do you plan to drink?"
"You did this once, you got pretty much drunk"

"I need this one now, Bare"

"If you say so..."

Minutes later,

"Oh my god"
"Am I flying?"
"Speedsters don't fly right?"
Barry said while sitting

"What are you saying?"
"You cute little guy"
Caitlin said

"What?"
"I didn't hear ya"

"Wanna fight?"

"Cait, I don't want to fight you"

He said

She went to the stage, grabbed the mic and picked a song

"Come on up, Mr. Barry Allen"
"No I mean not up you don't fly"
"Come here fast"
She winked

"Oh not again"

The song already started

"Oh come on Barry"
"I know you can sing"
"Come hereee"
She said

"Fine"
He went to the stage

"Shhh"
"You're so loud"
He shushed her

"I am not"
"Excuse you, Bartholomew Allen"
"WAIT"
"LOOK WHAT HAPPENED"

She frowned

"We can follow!"
"I'll start"
Barry said

"Can't read my"

"No he can't read my poker face"
Barry started singing

Caitlin sang

After singing more songs at the karaoke, Caitlin ordered another drink and decided to take a break and sit with Barry

"I feel exhausted"
She said

"I need more"
She added

"I want to sleep"
Barry told her

"I think that drink Cisco made, really really struck the hell out of me"

Caitlin's drink came

She grabbed her drink

"Caitlin..."
"Enough already"
He stopped her

"Whyyy?"

"You're too drunk"

"And so are you!"

"I can control myself already. The drink is already coming off me"
"Come on, let's go"
"I'll take you home"

"Take me home?"
"You might even trip while running, Barry"

"Trust me, Cait"

"Fine."
"Let's go"
"I want to sleep as well"

Barry ran with Caitlin to her apartment

"Here we are"
He said

"You can come inside first"
"Take a seat on the couch"
She opened the door and Barry went to the couch

*buzz buzz*

"Hey Cait!"
"I'll be staying at Tim's"
"So don't wait for me"
"Love you xx"
Catherine texted

"You can stay"
"If you want"
"Catherine's out, you can use her room"
Caitlin said

Barry didn't respond so she checked him

"Barry"
Still no response

She went to the living room and saw Barry already asleep

"Wow"
"He even fall asleep very fast"
She said

She grabbed a blanket inside the room and place it on Barry. She turned off the other lights and left the lamp beside the couch on. Caitlin went to bed afterwards.
