beautiful lies

you say im talented

you say im pretty

you say im amazing

but thats your job

I dont know what i expected

the truth, maybe

but i know its not the truth

because you tell me all these beautiful lies

because im clearly not talented

or pretty

or amazing

such beautiful lies...
