"Am I getting too close? I'm getting way too close, aren't I?"Allison asked and Lila smiled biting her lip

"Are you just following the bus, or are you planning on mounting it at some point?" Lydia asked causing Lila to giggle

"Yeah, I should back off."

" Well, that also depends. Oh, do you mean the bus or the ex-boyfriend you're currently stalking?" Lila giggled at Lydia's remark while Allison sighed

" Well, after it happened, I'm not letting him out of my sight. Hm. And by the way, this all started when he came knocking at my door."

" For what? "

Lila tuned out and her head swarmed with horrid memories of what happened last night. she felt horrible and disgusted. she couldn't believe Derek was dead.

She wished she could have been there, maybe she could have helped, even though all she could have done really is shine some lights in their eyes,

And apparently, the bad guy was blind soooo

Yeah nevermind, she still would have been useless

"So is that whole "not let them out of your sight" thing literal or more like a general rule?" she heard Lydia ask causing her to look back up

"Why?"

" You're running on fumes"

"Ugh"

"Yeah. And I'm pretty sure that bus holds a lot more gas than this Toyota."

" What if we stop?" Lila asked and Lydia nodded

"Is it really that big of a deal? I mean, so we lose them. We know where they're headed."

"You didn't see what happened."

"I know who started it,"Lydia replied sassily and Lila smiled.

" Is that what Aiden told you?"

" Aiden? Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold on a second. Is that why you invited me on this whole little road trip thing? Oh, my gosh. You're keeping an eye on them and me?"Lila frowned

"Then why am I here?" Lila asked, its not like she could help in any way.

And she sure as heck did not want to watch a dumb lacrosse game.

"So there's nothing going on between you two?" Allison asked ignoring Lila making her stick out her tough at her.

" I'm appalled by the insinuation." And Lila smirked rolling her eyes at her best friend

" Nothing?"

"Nothing." Lila could easily tell the girl was lying, it was obvious by the string of feelings that went through her at the mere mention of his name, and the sting of guilt she felt whenever she lied. Lydia never held as much guilt as others did, but Lila had been around her enough to pick it out.

Suddenly Lilas phone went off and her eyes widened at Stiles name that went across it and she started to panic, dang it, she wasn't the best liyer

"Hey, Stiles. Yeah, we're uh... about to...  wrestle a lion? " she spoke nervously and both girls looked at her like she was crazy. She couldn't see Stiles smile as he nodded his head in disbelief. She was so cute.

"Really? A lion?" she bit her lip knowing she got caught. Quick think of something!

"ha ha. of course not, that was a joke?" she said and looked at the girl and whispered

"Would a bear be more believable?" she asked to loudly and Stiles heard it.

"No!" both girls shouted making her wince. Stiles rolled his eyes.
