Mia(POV)
I woke up to a sharp pain in my side. I grabbed Anthony's arm tightly in accident.
A- babe what's the matter
He sat up and I started crying
M- there's pain
A- are you having the baby
I shook my head no
A- let's go to the hospital
He got up and came to my side and helped me up. I looked at my phone and it was only 3:30. We got in the car and Anthony texted the group chat we were going to the hospital and he then started driving. My side started hurting
M- can you hurry
A- I'm going as fast as I can
He yelled. I turned my head and continued crying
A- babe I can't go that fast but I'll hurry.
We soon got there and he helped me out and we walked in to the E.R.
A- mam my fiancée is having bad pains and she is pregnant
Mam- ok follow me
I got in a wheelchair and Anthony rolled me to a room with the nurse.
Mam- there will be a nurse coming and she will check your baby and then the doctor will come. What's your doctor
M- dr. Emily
She nodded and left. Anthony grabbed my hand
A- it's going to be alright. Everything is fine
The doctor and nurse came in. The nurse came over to me and she started checking my baby.
D- when did your side start to hurt
M- when I woke up like 30 minutes ago
D- ok.
She looked at the screen and nodded at the nurse And the nurse nodded back and left.
D- ok so it looks like your going into labor but the pain is because your body is not ready. Also the baby is kicking your side
A- what do we do then
D- we're going to have to do a C- Section now
I nodded and she left to go get ready and the nurse will be coming in soon
A- are you ready
M- idk
A- your going to be fine and I'm going to be right there too.
I nodded and the nurse came and I was already in a gown but then she laid me down and she rolled me down the hallway and Anthony was next to me. We got to the surgery room and they moved me on a table and Anthony was standing next to me along with a nurse that was putting Ivs in me. Emily was getting gloves on and she numbed me. She then cut open my stomach and I could feel her take out my baby but it wasn't crying
M- Anthony why isn't crying
The nurses brought the baby back to the corner of the room and I couldn't see but Anthony went over there and then I heard the baby start crying. I sighed in relief. The nurses then picked up the baby and was starting to leave
D- Mia the nurses are going to take your baby boy and go and clean him and I'm going to stitch you back up
M- Anthony stay by his side
He nodded and came over to me and kissed my forehead and left
M- is my baby fine
D- your baby is healthy
I then started getting dizzy and my vision started getting blurry
M- I'm really dizzy
It then went black.
Anthony(POV)
After I left the room I followed the nurses with my baby. They started washing it
N- sir you want to wash your baby
I nodded and stood up and started cleaning it and the nurses then grabbed him and dried him and put him in a onesie. The baby weighed 4 lb and the baby was really tiny because it was born 3 weeks early. I then sat down and held him in the baby nursery. It was now 6 and I saw Jake walk into the hospital so I laid my boy in the car thing and I went out there
J- hey man
A- hey
J- how is she
A- she told me to stay with the baby and she should be getting stitched back up.
J- congrats dad
I smiled and said thanks
A- want to see him
He followed me to the nursery and we couldn't go in and so we were looking through the glass.
J- is she in her room
A- go check
He left and I stayed watching the baby. Jake then came running towards me
J- bro it's Mia
I started running to her room and Jake was behind me. I got to her room and all the machines were beeping and there were about 5 nurses and 1 doctor in there. The doctor was trying to resuscitate her. I tried walking up to her but the nurses stoped me so I stood by the wall.
N- 3,2,1
D- clear
They stopped and waited
D- no pulse go again
I started crying
N- 3,2,1
D- clear
They waited
