I live a fairly normal life, keyword fairly. I haven't left my house for 20 years. Why you may ask? According to my parents, who are doctors, I am allergic to pretty much everything outside. Basically if I went outside I would break out in a rash, temperature, and all around just be severely sick.

My name is Jaylyn Ashley. I am 23 years old. I have two loving parents and a brother who passed away when I was three years old. I don't remember him much but, I do know he was a lot older than me, 11 years to be exact. Most people who meet me call me a freak because of my vibrant violet colored eyes, supposedly passed down to me by my great grandmother.

Today is July 23, what would've been my older brother Levi's 34th birthday. I'm sitting in my room working on the book cover for the book I wrote being published at the end of the month. I then noticed an envelope sticking out of my bookshelf a few feet away. Curious I walk over and pick it up. I flip it around to see my name on the front. I open it to see a neatly folded sheet of paper. Unfolding it I see a letter and begin reading.

'Dear Jaylyn,

My name is Caitlin Snow. I am a bioscientist at Star Labs in Central City. I have been recently looking into your allergy problem as a request from a friend of mine.

As I understand it your parents have told you that you are allergic to pretty much everything. Upon further inspection to your most recent allergy reports I have come to the conclusion that you are not allergic to anything at all. The only reason that you get sick a lot of the time is because of the weakness of your immune system due to the lack of exposure to viruses.

With that said, my friend has told me a lot about you and has said that you are good with electronics. We could use your help with a new form of technology that we have been developing. Sincerely,

Caitlin Snow'

I immediately ran downstairs to my parents who were working on paperwork. I searched through th filing cabinet frantically for my file.

"Jaylyn what are you looking for sweetheart?" My mom asked.

I pulled out my file to find it surprisingly thin. I opened it and searched for my allergy statement papers. When I couldn't find them I turned to face my parents.

"Where are they?" I asked almost shouting.

"Jaylyn voice down. What are you looking for?" My dad asked.

"I'm not allergic to anything, am I?" I asked.

They didn't reply for a while until my mom spoke up.

"No you aren't." She replied.

"Why?!" I shouted.

"Jaylyn don't shout in the house." My dad said sternly.

"I don't care right now! You both lied to me for twenty years and you think I'm not going to shout?!" I replied "You know what I'm not dealing with this I'm leaving."

I stormed up to my room and began to pack some clothes into a backpack. Just as I finished packing my phone began to ring. I checked the caller ID.

"Unknown? Who would be calling me this late?" I asked myself, answering the phone "Hello?"

"Hello is this Jaylyn Ashley?" The voice on the other end replied.

"Yes it is. Who are you?" The voice on the other end replied.

"You wouldn't know me. At least not by my real name. You would know me as 'Levi'." They introduced.

"No my brother's dead. You can't be Levi." I replied.

"On the contrary I am very much alive." 'Levi' claimed.

I then remembered the nickname my brother used to call me.

"Okay, so if you are really my brother, what would you call me when I was three years old?" I asked.

"That's easy Jaylyn. I called you 'MockingJay' because you would copy me literally all the time." He replied.

I clasped my hand to my mouth.

"Now do you believe me Jaylyn?" He asked.

"Yes. Why did mom and dad make me believe that you were dead?" I asked.

"I wouldn't follow in their footsteps and become a doctor." He replied "So, after I moved out they changed their names, as well as yours might I add, moved away, and changed their phone numbers."

"How did you get my number then?" I asked "What is your real name?"

"My real name is Oliver Queen. I might've had my friend Felicity Smoake look into getting your number for me." He replied.

"Well, where are you? I would love to meet you." I asked.

"I'm actually on my way to Central City right now." He replied.

"Alright, I'll head over there on the bus. Where should we meet up?" I asked.

"Jaylyn I'm not letting you take the bus." He replied.

"Then what do you suggest? I don't have a car let alone a driver's license." I asked.

"Good point. In that case meet me at Star Labs. I'm going to be meeting up with some friends there anyway." He suggested.

"Alright, see you there Olly." I replied.

"See you there 'MockingJay'." He replied.

We hung up and I picked up my backpack and, after making sure I had my laptop I was working on was with me, walked downstairs. My parents tried to stop me from walking out the door but, with no avail.
