"How are you feeling?" Camila asks softly as she sits down beside Lauren.

"I'm okay. What about you?" Lauren asked.

Shrugging, Camila kisses Lauren's forehead. "I'm sorry."

"Why are you sorry?" Lauren asked with a confused expression.

"For being so out of it this week." Camila responds softly.

"Oh." Lauren swallowed. "You lost a dog you loved. You had a right to be sad."

"Not when you needed me." Camila breathes out.

Lauren shook her head. "You can be sad."

"It's not fair to you." Camila sighed.

"You can be sad." Lauren repeated for the third time.

Shaking her head, Camila kisses Lauren's forehead again.

"You can be sad." Lauren said again.

"I'm fine." the soldier responds.

"No. You're not."  Lauren responded.

Sighing, Camila looks at Lauren and leans their foreheads together. "I'm sorry."

"Don't apologize." Lauren said.

Swallowing thickly, Camila tries not to get emotional.

"Cry." Lauren whispered. "Please. You need to."

Tears start to fill Camila's eyes and she shakes her head.

"Please." Lauren begged, she pulled Camila close and rubbed her back. "Just cry."

The soldier buries her face in Lauren's neck and breaks down.

Lauren continued to rub Camila's back until she calmed down.

"Thank you." the soldier breathes out.

Lauren gently kissed Camila on the cheek. "Don't thank me."

"I love you." Camila whispers softly.

"I love you too." Lauren whispered back.

The soldier pulls Lauren close and takes a deep breath. "I don't know what I'd do without you."

Lauren stayed quiet. She rested her head against Camila's.

Relaxing, Camila starts to fall asleep.

Lauren let her eyes flutter closed and it wasn't long before she fell asleep.

"They're exhausted." Ally says softly as her and Dinah get ready to leave.

Dinah nodded. "Yeah. They are."

"Are you ready to go?" Ally asks, opening the front door.

"Yup." Dinah said with a nod.

Two hours later

Ally smiles as she looks at the husky pups, there were six of them. One stood out among them. She was smaller than the rest of the other pups and had bright blue eyes. The tiny pup was sitting in the corner of the pen.

"What about that one?" She asked Dinah.

Dinah tilts her head and nods. "She's cute." the Polynesian says. "I like that she's pure white with a slightly grey tent in certain areas."

"We've got to think about what Camila would like." Ally said.

"I think she'd like her." Dinah responds softly.
