As she watched the careful steel glisten on the side,
She did not know.
As she became mesmerised by the touch and silently cried,
She did not know.

She did not feel the salt trickle down her pure face,
Did not see the blood stain her white skin as her pulse raced,
Did not hear the voices not the pain that they cried,
She did not know a part of her had died.

The beautiful stark metal fell with a scarlet tear drop,
Left her on the bathroom floor begging for it to stop,
And as heart froze and fell like flakes of snow,
She swore she did not know
