"Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that."
― Martin Luther King Jr.

Recap:

"Is it so hard for you to know that I am the answer to that riddle?" King Ezrael asked as darkness engulfed me.

MARA'S POV:

Have you ever feel the difference in the atmosphere and therefore your mood changes too? Well I'm feeling that today as I arise from my bed. I gasped as I looked at my surroundings. I guess last night was real.

It's now tomorrow and I'm in a hella good mood.

"Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love you, tomorrow..." I sang, not really caring if I sang the lyrics right. At least that's  what I heard when Madame Lilian used to sing that then annoying song to me. Madame Lilian... she would be so proud of me today.

The beautiful lace nude V-neck coloured dress was decorated in fabric roses. The top part hung tight, but just right to allow my lungs to breath. The low part of the dress hand loose, making me feel like a Disney princess. I looked like an actual royal for once and not the girl who rides motorbikes, hangs with vamps, and cause troubles in nearby packs.

I let my hair breath, and did my makeup with warm tones. I wanted to act like an actual princess tonight, for the justice of my dress.

***

"Amara Celestial De'Russo, Princess of Blood Fangs Pack and the fourth in line for the throne." I heard the voice of the butler say.

Today, he dressed like he was going to see the Queen of England. Which was rather weird because he usually didn't really care about hygiene nor his clothes....

I walked down the stairs, the stairs made me feel like I'm naked. Okay heels, don't make me fall down the stairs.

Dear Moon Goddess, please save me from that embarrassment.

Finally, I arrived at the bottom of the staircase. I gave a curtsy while trying to keep my eyes from searching that particular platinum blonde haired boy.

My heels were killing me. I might look like I'm enjoying this unnecessary attention I'm getting but in reality, I felt like I was walking on needles while putting on a mask.

Speaking of unnecessary attention...

"Ale- I mean, Alpha D!" I whisper-yelled as I drag him away from his little chats.

"Do you need any help Mara?" He asked. I quickly hugged him while my brain sighed in relief, I'm not invisible anymore. This is the first time I got to get in contact with him today since he was too busy preparing for this ball. To say that the decorations were great was an understatement; it was magnificent.
