I lay on the bed, and watched Niall sleep. A smile tugged at the corners of my mouth as I watched you sleep like a baby, innocent, and carefree. He was so gorgeous, but I didn't deserve him. He was out of my league by a million miles – he deserved a girl who was beautiful, and funny, and smart; a girl that wasn't me.

I sighed, and gently brushed my fingertips over his cheek as he slept. What should I do?

I felt tired, but I didn't want to sleep. I wanted to just stay in this moment forever, and watch Niall sleep in peace. I didn't want to fall asleep, because if he left while I slept, then I would miss him forever. I didn't want to ever miss a thing that Niall James Horan did, even if it was just a smile while he slept.

"Syd...." He murmured in his sleep at that moment, and my heart stopped for a moment as I felt a strong surge of love for him. He was dreaming of me, just like I knew I would dream of him.

I lay down with my head resting on his chest, and just listened to the steady thump of his heartbeat as he rested there. It was a soothing sound, and I knew then that I didn't want to leave him, ever. I leaned up, and brushed my lips over his closed eyelids lightly, just barely kissing them.

"Thank you God for giving me Niall." I whispered, and smiled softly at his sleeping form.

I managed to stay awake for a few more hours. It was nearly five in the morning, when Niall's eyelids drifted open, and his blue eyes focused on me. A smile passed across his face, and he whispered, "Have you slept at all?"

I shook my head, and replied just as quietly, "I was watching you sleepm, and I didn't want to miss a thing." I smiled back.

He rolled his eyes but smiled. "Well, sleep." He lay me down beside him, and I finally closed my eyes. Sleep soon overcame me, but not before I heard that familiar Irish accent start singing softly in my ear,
