Chapter 8 : lift

"your brother is just too annoying" I said on the phone

"Excuse me! He is my brother I won't tolerate anything said against him" Nishi said from the other side of the call

"Oh so why don't you just come here and try to knock some manners in him"

"Well I won't try that because I have brain unlike you" he chuckled

"You are the worst person to talk with" I said huffing

"Okay so then you should talk with Bhai" he chuckled again

"Go to hell!!" I said ending the call

I had to go to the hall to check that the paintings were kept properly without damaging them, not that it was compulsory to go, Yash uncle had assured me that he will take care of that but I didn't want to take any chance. It was for the first time that my work would be displayed in an exhibition and I was very excited for it.

I entered inside the elevator and was about to press the ground floor button

"Wait" I heard someone say, well not someone but Mr. Rude. He entered in the elevator 'how does he manage to look this handsome always' wether it's formal or casual he looks gorgeous in everything. Stop praising him pari don't you remember what happened last night.

"Goodmorning" he greeted me with a smile on his face

Wait what did I just saw, did he really smiled, does he smile?
And not to forget he looks ten times more good when he smiles.

"Hi, goodmorning" I replied

"Where are you heading to? "

"I am going to the exhibition hall to check the arrangements"

He hummed in response, I was heading towards the gate

"How will you go?" He asked

"By auto" I said

"Come I will drop you"

"It's okay, the hall is not too far"

"Why to use two vehicles and waste petrol when you can manage in one?"

He will not let you win pari, just do what he says.

I walked to his car and sat on the backseat, he told his driver the name of hall.

"Thanks for the lift" I said

"Welcome, are you free tonight?" He asked suddenly

"Yes, why?"

"I was thinking of having dinner together in a restaurant" he said shocking me. This was pretty fast, i didn't expect it.
"So, what say?" He asked

"Yes sure, never say no to food" I said

We reached the hall, I got down and thanked him again

"Do you want me to pick you up"

"No, it will take just few minutes for me to finish the work"

"Okay, bye then" he said

"Bye, see you tonight" I said leaving

Mr. Rude just asked me for dinner, not bad pari. I need to inform this to Nishi. I dialled Nishi's number

"Guess what?" I said as he picked up the call

"That you are returning back" he replied in a duh tone, this person is so boring

"Idiot, your oh so rude brother just asked me for dinner" I told him

"So what, you invited him for dinner at your place, so he is doing the same, that's not a big deal"

"Why do I even talk to you"

"Because I am hot and you can't resist me" he said playfully "But pari let me tell you I am not interested in you, go and try these all on someone else"

"If you were standing in front of me I would have punched you hard on your face" I said angrily

"See you can't keep your hands off me"

"Useless donkey, anyways I will call you later because I am busy unlike you"

"Bye, and don't forget to tell me the details of your dinner date"

"Dinner date? Excuse me it's just a normal dinner okay, don't think too much"

"Dinner date, dinner date, my bro and my best friend are going on a dinner date wow!"

"Nishi you will pay for this after I return"

"Okay angry bird" he said and disconnected the call
