so i finally completed this, my first monsta x fic!! :)

i really hope you guys liked it, please ignore any grammar mistakes or anything if you find them lmao

the fic is inspired by "Forever and Always" by Parachute, one of my fav songs when i was a kid

to anyone confused w the plot, here's an explanation:

❀hyungwon meets hoseok, they become friends. h.w is happier and realizes he loves hoesuck (who doesn't tho)

❀ they date n it's cute, but also realistic, it aint some perfect fluffy thing. their relationship has problems like any other, but they still love each other and overall it's gucci

❀ h.w's parents are cockblockers, force him to move to Canada/break up w h.s (which he does, telling h.s lies bc he'll be mf disowned if he tells the truth)

❀ h.w feels guilty but lives his life. h.s, on the other hand, believes h.w hates him and is barely handling it bc he loves h.w too much.

❀ IMPORTANT: i emphasized how h.s is really into workouts/dieting (as in eating healthy foods), so his body is in perfect condition and is always being treated well. but when h.w left, he settled on drinking to cope. he never drunk to the point of blacking out, but over time, drinking such amounts adds up. especially since his body isn't used to such toxins in it, his life took a turn. the alcohol deprived his organs/body of good health/nutrition, so it no longer mattered that he was exercising/eating healthy - his days were numbered.

❀ h.w comes to Korea (when h.s barely has time left) and meets h.s @ the coffee shop

❀ they're shook, it's a high-key tb to when they were dating/loved each other, but h.w is too [beautiful] weak to handle that, so he runs away

❀ h.s leaves bc he's shook too, but wants to meet up w h.w again

❀ this is when it's clear how this fic was based on the song. h.w shows up @ cafe and waits

❀ he gets a call saying something's happened (like the protagonist in song does)

❀ like the protagonist, he rushes to the whereabouts of his lover and kneels by bedside

❀ they share memories/chats, but time is ticking

❀ and h.s' voice is almost too low, as he says "i...will love you forever...forever and always...etc"

❀ then he dies

❀ EPILOGUE("i ♥  you"): describes aftermath, h.w's life after it happened, what he feels, what it's like, etc. h.w dies in car crash (looking at a thing h.s gave him 42090820 years ago, proving how h.w still loves/is always thinking abt/misses him even 9 years later)

❀ (somewhat) HAPPY ENDING: h.w joins h.s in heaven, the truth [untold] abt why h.w left/broke up w h.s is revealed and they carry on their (after)lives, loving each other for forever and always
