<Sara Lance>

<These are poems that I found fit to match Sara's past life and current life style.>

Written by: Willow-Anne.
Warrior.

Do you believe in destiny?
That you were born for a certain need
A certain path you are told to follow
Which you've no choice but to heed

I was born to be a hero
To protect those who are weak
I'm the one that will come running
When others begin to shriek

I jump in the way of battles
And protect the young from pain
Seeing the people that I love be happy
Is what I hope to attain

Sometimes it gets lonely
Standing out amongst the pack
Sometimes it gets scary
Having a target on your back

When people see great power
They want to make it their own
The fact that one day I might lose
Is something I've always known

But knowing I've done some good
And that I might've saved a friend
Every single sacrifice I've made
Was worth it in the end

So it's with a smile on my face
And with a kiss, I say goodbye
Don't you shed a tear my love
'Cause sometimes heroes die.

The Silent Warrior.

The warrior furious,
and fearless.
Her eyes full of justice,
and trust.

Raising her sword
at her enemies,
showing she shows no
fuse.

She fights with grace and
skill.
No expression,
no care.

Her glowing eyes,
made her foes fear her.
Her sword raises as it slashes down,
onto the foes.

She is known as a mysterious,
hero.
The warrior that was silent.
She showed no mercy on
those who are,
displeased.

The Silent Warrior,
is the one to be.

Warrior.

I am a
warrior
But they don't give
A damn

So I fight
The silent battles
To preserve the
Human I am.

Bloodlust
<About Captain Canary and/or Avalance.>

I can't understand my breathing, it's starting fast and ending slow.
I need my demons to leave me, let me return to never being alone.
Cause I'm pushing away the only one, who holds me while I scream inside.
I'm trying to persevere and throw away insecure lies.
Blood pumps fast when I daydream that I'm not enough for you.
Images in my head that I don't want to remember their taking my life.
I was an assassin, took what I needed and left on a cue.
When I looked in their eyes and saw they needed mine.
I can't do that to you, I never would, but the urges to run, they've got me in a corner.
The feeling that you'll leave when you see the dark sides of mine.
I'd steal their hearts before they ever saw it coming, but you stole mine first
Now I'm over my head, I'm not in control. I need you in my life.
I need your love more than my own.
I crave to hear your heartbeat. It soothes me while I sleep.
I need to feel you needing me. It's my own kind of lust.

Remorseful Bloodlust.

The cuts bleed out,
but I'm still here,
drunken remorse,
and manic fear,
the blade in my hand,
a body on the floor,
blood pools around my feet,
blind with insanity,
blood-lust so thick I can't see,
I come to my senses and look into the eyes,
of the dead man,
and I see me.

Assassins Blade.

Only death there are whispers.
Only in darkness there are cries.

Within the blades,
Shimmering silently.
Only to whisper one word.
"Die."

<Extra poem...>
<Sara Lance to Quentin Lance.>

It's never the right time
To say goodbye.
I will miss you, Dad,
And here is why.
You taught me so much:
To show no fear,
To always have fun,
And face the day with cheer.

You were always so able,
So fast and so strong.
In your little girl's eyes
You could do no wrong.
You would always listen,
And you never pried.
You were the arms around me
When I cried.

You never looked for praises,
And you were never one to boast.
You were always there
For those you loved the most.

You worked so hard,
And those strong working hands
Led me through life
And helped me understand
That life can be hard,
And tough, and sad,
But through it all
I had my Dad.

And because of you,
I understood
That life was actually
Pretty good.
I believe in you
And will follow your path,
And when things go wrong,
I'll look back and laugh.

I hope you can hear me
So I can let you know
That you were and will forever
Be my superhero.
So yes, today
I am full of sorrow,
But I will smile a little more
With each tomorrow.

So please, Dad, go
Be at rest
And know to me
You were always the best.
