Armed with her wisdom and only a single opener, Joyce found herself facing five doors. There were iron knockers on each door, but she was smarter than being fooled by them. She knew that no one would open them and that she would have to choose her way in herself. Fate would lead her. When Joyce looked at Fate for hints, she simply rubbed her manicured nails together with a permanent frown, making a distracting clink clink clink sound.

Joyce looked at the last door first and the second door second. All same. Wooden doors. Iron knockers. Keyholes.

"I don't have an entire day", Fate remarked impatiently. "There's a long queue."

"Oh." Joyce sighed. "I'm sorry." She wasn't.

Joyce looked at the key again- a shiny blister copper being, with the words 'Bless You' etched on its hoop.

She stared hard at the twin doors one final time and stepped towards the third. "Do it", Fate coaxed, her face expressionless. A nameless impulse made Joyce bolt for the second door instead. No sooner did she open it than a portal of smoke engulfed her and the door shutting was the last thing she heard.

Fate dialed her pager.

"Hello, Afterlife Agency-

Mission accomplished. Another subject successfully manipulated to choose somatic imprisonment."

"Bravo, Fate. There goes another spoke to your wheel!"

Fate smirked at the plausibility of an increased pay.
