Is it still fashionable
to wear my heart on my sleeve?
Or should I just keep it in my pocket
and give it its much-sought reprieve?Should I find solace in silence
and wager that you'll notice?
I've already looked through different lenses,
I swear that I know thisIf I stepped out of the shadows,
would you finally notice me?
Or would you walk right through me
and end this one-sided plea?
