The amazing crumb

The outside world

The little bread crumb was real excited.  He was excited to live an interesting life, excited to get away from home!
  But just at that moment when the crumb was thinking if a good life, it started raining. The crumb started to get mushy and gross. So he quickly tried to dig a hole in the dirt to hide in. He dug, and dug and dug some more until he was in the ground just enough so he wouldn't get wet or damp. He never knew when it would stop raining, so he waited. And waited. And waited.
  He waited long enough to the point to where his eyes were sagging and his body ached. So he fell asleep.

  A couple nights later, the crumb has started to grow roots, ROOTS! And now his body does not ache and his eyes are not saggy. He feels great!
