You were the leader of a small group, another group had just gotten through your base and you'd sent your people after them.
"What have we have here?" You muttered. Your base was in an old train station, you climbed on top of the nearest train and looked into the circle that your group had made, the other group in the middle.
One man caught your eye as they looked up; your eyes widened, your mouth doing the same.
"Rick?"
Rick looked at you, smiling. You hadn't seen each other since the prison, you were practically his fiancé before the outbreak.
"Y/N..."
You got off the train cart; your group dispersed to one side as you walked through.
When Rick caught sight of you again, he sprinted towards you, holding his arms out. He grabbed your waist pulling you harshly into him, squeezing you roughly. You smiled and breathed out heavily, wrapping your arms around him.
"You're still alive." He sighed in relief. "I learnt from the best." You breathed into the crook of his neck; smiling.
