The First

You were there, always,
An outcast I was.
You wouldn't care,
You promised to be there forever.

Few years have been passed,
Can you still keep that promise?
The connection is starting to waver,
Desperately I am, trying to stitch it back together.

I asked for your help and none other,
With such a pitiful glance.
I was shoved aside,
Completely disregarded.

Darkness engulfed me, breathing was getting harder,
I have no hope at this point.
The one and only person I had trust,
No longer thought of me as their own.

What did I do?
What have I done wrong?
I didn't deserve this,
Yet I do.

A selfish human like me,
No, humanity itself is selfish.
Humanity is poison,
None of that matters now . . . does it?

My vision darkened,
And soon, I found it.

The first path to a long journey,
Of recovery to find the light within this miserable world.

So, this is going to be like a poetry of such and um, I'm bad at writing poetry. I'm too lazy to spend my time making them rhyme. Maybe next time. :3333
