Background information:

I've was born in the UK and always lived there. Once in a few years, my family and I would visit our relatives in out homeland (Pakistan). I would sit with my grandma and we would have our conversations. She knew I loved writing poetry just like my great grandad so she would always tell me to read the same one to her because it was the only one I wrote in Punjabi. 😂

Two years after my last visit, she became extremely ill. Immediately, my dad booked his ticket and took her to a private hospital. Many patients had successful heart surgeries however, my grandma... 💔

That's what this about. It's just a way to get out my emotions. The fact that I will never see her again, we lived far apart and circumstances meant that we couldn't go there as much really hurts.

Content:

This book consists of two poems. The first is a clear representation of my emotions and how I felt when my grandmother passed away.

The second poem is fictional as the situation is slightly tweaked meaning, she did not need a heart transplant. She just needed a heart surgery.
