It's been three weeks since Sollux last wrote to you. You get excited when you finally see a letter with the address he always wrote on it. However, you most certainly were not expecting what the latter had said.
"Ms. Megito,
We regret to inform you that your fiancè, Sollux Captor, recently passed away in battle. He was very brave. And his death was not in vain. He saved the lives of many other soldiers by dislodging a bomb from a tree.
They were all surrounding the tree having lunch, but Captor got the bomb just in time.
However, it exploded a little too close and a little too soon.
We are so sorry. He will be missed by all of us. We will be able to speak in person soon, we should be on out way to America by the time this letter reaches you. America will always honor your traveling soldier. Much love and apologies,
