King's PoV
Flashback

I return to my Kingdom with (Y/N), my best friend. She reminds me of Helbram sometimes, but as I look at the horizon, the horrific sight of my Kingdom burnt to a crisp with no live or any saplings. "Harlequin?" (Y/N) held my shoulder "Elaine. No Elaine!" I fly up racing to the great tree. "Elaine!" I reach the tree but nothing was here. "Harlequin! Wait up!" (Y/N) trails beside me "Damnit..... Why- *sob* why wasn't I there to help.... ELAINE!" I cry and shout her name. She wasn't going to come back if I just should her name. "Harlequin, I-" (Y/N) reaches her hand.

But I knock it back "King, this isn't going to solve anything, if you'll just-", "Shut up, don't you see.. *sob* don't you see there nothing left!" I cry even more and fall to the dead trees floor. "King, Stop this!" (Y/N) hugged me from behind... "Please... Just stop... if you keep this up you'll-" she starts to cry on my back, tears falling, I turn my head still with tears slowly falling onto the tree floor "(Y/N)..."

End of flashback

Another 100 years have past and (Y/N) and I am with the Captain. It's strange that the Captain hasn't changed in 300 years or so. But here we are, sitting in the Boar Hat, with a knocked out Ban on the bar. Stop drink of once will ya?! Diane is outside twiddling with her pigtails, Meliodas is still talking to Elizabeth. "King?" A small voice was heard, Elaine? My head looks up to see Elaine, this was obviously an illusion, my eyes slowing water "King?" She said again.

My vision soon becomes clear with (Y/N) sitting on the other side of the round wooden table "King? Your crying." She said moving round to the other side of the table next to me. "N...No I'm not." I avert my eyes wiping the tears I had, her tones softens "It Elaine, isn't it?" She quietly spoke. "It's not about here." My tone softens to the same level as hers. (Y/N) has never changed, not even a little. She's still the same fairy she was comforting me before all of this.

"Come on, I know what will make you feel better. It will be just like only times." She smiled looking at at me. She knows me to well, she grabbed my hand and pulled my outside. "(Y/N), slow down." I said, slowing tripping behind her as she drags me.

(Y/N)'s PoV

I drag King beside me, to take his mind of Elaine, he was going to get a reminder of what our childhood looked like. Slashing in the waters, playing hide and seek and all you can think of as a child. I drag him to a river in a woods, hoping that this will kick start his memory. "Why did you bring me here?" He asked. As I removed my dress, having knee shorts and a vest, so I'm still covered. "Do you remember." I ask, I turn looking at his blushed face.

Still adorable as ever. I dip my foot into the water making ripples expanding outward. "Do I remember what?" He ask look at me as I eating into the river knee deep. I cup water in my hands, and splashed King, "Does that trigger your memory?" I ask. "First you splash me, then you expect me to remember?!" He said in awe, he took of his jacket and splashed me with magic "So, I guess you do remember?" I chuckled, soaked "Now you asked for it!" I flick my hands making water rise and slash him.

He hovers over the river dodging my playful attacks.

Time skip

We've been at it for hours, half of the day was gone, it was an orange peaceful sky now. "Just like old times." King smiled looking at me, still like a child. "Hey (Y/N)?", "hmm? Wha! Oof!" He trips me up leaving me on my back laying in the river "That was a dirty trick!" I exclaim "I'm sorry." I lends a hand but I pull him down and I stand. "Ha, that was payback." I laugh "Has this taken your mind off her?" I tilt my head to one side cocking an eyebrow "Not quiet yet." He stands up stepping a little closer.

Unexpectedly his face became close and his lips press against mine. He breaks the bond cupping my cheek "Now it has." He smiles kissing me on the forehead, leaving me in a bashful, embarrassing state...

And that even reminds me when he kissed my forehead as a child. I guess.... He doesn't need help anymore?

Unexpectedly..... well short, I'm sorry for the ending, I wasn't sure how to end it. Again sorry. Hopefully it was good to read.....?
