Dynasty

"    And all I gave you is gone

      Thought we built a dynasty that heaven couldn't shake
      Thought we built a dynasty like nothing ever made
      Thought we built a dynasty forever couldn't break up     "

"You good?"

"No."

He looked at me, I knew he could see the bags under my eyes, the darkness that was taunting me on the inside.

"How long has it been since you slept?"

"Days...weeks..I don't know anymore. I haven't really been able to sleep since." I looked away and looked up the sky, such a peaceful night for such horrible happenings. It wasn't something that you just forgot even my own parents knew that I couldn't keep going like this except it wasn't really their choice on how I kept myself going at this point.

"You can't keep going like this, you'll hurt yourself eventually." He spoke, his eyes glossed over with worry, I didn't even know why he cared in the first place. It had been his fault that it had happened at this point.

"You're one to talk...you let all of this happen." I stared back at him with the abandonment I felt in the past weeks, with all of the vile emotions that I never wished to feel. "Because of you-" I paused as I took a deep breath in, I didn't want him to see my tears that were to come down my cheeks if I broke in front of him. "-because of you I lost someone that meant the world to me and I can't get him back."

His eyes widened, he looked away. I knew he was looking for a way to explain himself but you couldn't do that when you knew, you were guilty. He didn't have anything to say and for some reason it made me feel good, I liked seeing him weak just when I saw Ruby on floor gasping for his last breaths.
