Chapter 6 - The Very First Lecture!

Jessie's pov

Yesterday was amazing. We spent the day showing Amarah around most of LA. Katie and I felt like tour guides and Amarah was the tourist. But overall, it was a great day. Anyways, today is our very first real day at university as we have Monday and Tuesdays off. I walked into the lecture hall at 10:50am, and I saw Katie and Amarah are already here, so I waved at them and then they waved back. I went to them and I sat down next to them.

'Hey guys, how's it going?' I asked. The girls looked very happy.

'Hey, yeah we are good, how are you?' Katie says.

'I am good. I can't wait to see who else is in our class to be honest.' I replied. The girls nodded. The lecturer walked in. She had quite a lot of books, she looked like she is struggling with it all but there were a couple of boys who helped her. They are so kind. But when I could see their faces properly, I could not even believe who I was looking at.

'Everyone, please take your seats, we are going to start soon.' The lecturer says,

'Katie, look who it is. I can't believe it.' I said.

'Wow, I thought they would never get into university. I am surprised to see them to be honest.' Katie says.

'Who are they?' Amarah says.

'That is Jordan. Taylor, Dan and Ethan. They are all from LA, and me and Katie went to the same high school with them all.' I said.

'Oh I see. Well, I don't think they will be a problem will they?' Amarah says.

'Well they were very popular at school but they are not those mean guys who are rude and all, but they are so and at heart. Me, Jessie and Phoebe did hang around with them but we had a disagreement with them, so we fell out with them, a few years ago.' Emma replied.

'Okay cool. So, who is Phoebe now?' Amarah asked curiously. Emma's phone beeped.

'Well, she is just walking through the door right now.' Katie says as she looked up from her phone and pointed towards the door.

'Oh my gosh! I thought she was still in a coma.' I said.

'Me too! I guess she has recovered from it all.' Emma replied. Me and her are very shocked. The boys looked at us and then they left. I am guessing they are not doing Photography. I saw Ethan looking at Amarah. He waved at her, Amarah waved back at him. They looked at each other like how a couple looks at each other. They hardly know each other but it is cute though.

'Hey girls!' Pheobe says as she sat next to me. I am kind of angry with her.

'Hi!' I said angrily. Katie looked at Phoebe with her angry face.

'What's wrong with both of you? What did I do? And who the heck are you?' Phoebe says.

'Okay, first of all this is our friend Amarah. Also, we are just mad at you because you never told us you came out of coma and the hospital. What kind of friend are you?' Katie moaned.

'Look, I am sorry. Can we talk about this later?' Phoebe requested.

'Okay! We finish at 6pm, so we shall talk then.' I said. Phoebe nodded. Me and Katie are angry with her.

Amarah's pov

So, I have no idea what the heck is going on with Jessie, Katie and Phoebe, that can be handled later but all I know is the guy who came into the room earlier is extremely attractive and I really like him. But before I like him even more, I need to meet him first and get to be around him. Also, he needs to like me as well before anything happens.

'And that ladies and gentlemen, is the end of your very first lecture. It is 6pm, so you can go. But please make sure you read for next weeks lecture.' Lindsey, our lecturer says. I am so happy with that lecture went really well. That was a good lecture. Lindsey who is our lecturer, is such a lovely woman.

'See you tomorrow girls. And thanks for the lift Jessie.' I said as I got out of the car.

'No problem. See you tomorrow.' Jessie says. She drove of. I started to walk to my house. But I sae the same guy from uni walking towards me. He looked at me. I didn't even know what to do. The next thing I knew, we were standing face - to - face.

'Hi, you go to the university just dow the road don't you?' The guy says. I stood there and froze. I can't believe he is actually talking to me. I don't know what to say to him.
