♡ The autumn leaves crunched below my feet with every step I took as I rambled around the resting city. Soft rain fell from the bruised sky landing on my cold shoulders while everyone else sheltered away from the crying skies leaving me to comfort it in its time of need. I was alone treading the lonely railroad tracks that split the East and West side of town. Everything was still and nothing seemed out of place except for myself. Walking towards my spotted destination I sat beneath the naked tree and watched the sunrise from behind the green hills. This was all I had, this was all I wanted.
