Friends

"Y/N?" You turned towards Jungkook who was looking at you confused.
"I had been calling you for the past few minutes but you didn't hear me, you were busy staring at hyung. Everything is fine right? Did he bully you? Why do you look so scared?
"No no everything is fine, he just looked like someone I knew so that's why" you laughed nervously and began talking to Jungkook again, you could still feel him staring at you

The bell rang indicating it was lunch, a couple of girls came to talk to you asking if they could be friends with you,
"I'm lee ji eun and this is my friend kang Seulgi" one of them said
"Hi I'm y/n, nice talking to you" you smiled
"Let's go for lunch y/n" Lee ji eun said you smiled and nodded, then you guys went towards the cafeteria, it was double the size of that in your old school, it was crowded you could hear people talking and laughing while eating their food.. The three of you sat at the corner of the room where it was less crowded,

"So Y/N I heard that you're Kim Junmyeon's and Kim jongin's sister right?" Jieun asked
"Yes" you replied while filling your mouth with a spoonful of food
"Oh and they also said you guys  lived in America for the past 15 years right?"
You froze, America?
"Maybe that's what Junmyeon told the school" you thought
"Oh yes we did live there" you smiled

You enjoyed your first day of school, you made friends for the first time, you laughed and smiled with people, you interacted with them..
It was now time to go home.. you packed your bags and separated with your friends to go home, you and jongin were about to exit the school  when you remembered the umbrella
"Jongin I'll be right back" you didn't give him a chance to reply before you started running towards your classroom

Yoongi' POV
I was packing my bags when Jungkook came to me
"hyung isn't the new transfer student cute? She's so beautiful right? Her smile her laugh her voice."
I didn't say anything, I maintained a poker face and kept on packing my bags
"I think I like her hyung"
I froze, I could feel a pain in my heart, what if she likes him back? I had never seen her talk to anyone else but him, I had never seen her smile to anyone else but him, did she also like him?
"Hyung I saw you guys staring at each other at class and when I asked her, she said you looked like someone she knew"
Looked like someone she knew? I am the someone she knows, did she forget me?
"Oh y/n why are you here?"
Jungkook's word woke me from my thoughts, I looked up to see her standing at the door panting, she looked up and our eyes met, non of us broke the eye contact
"I'll get going" Jungkook said and left but neither of us bothered to look at him, we were busy staring at one another. She slowly approached me and started to look through her bag
"Thank you" she said, I looked down at her hands to see her holding the umbrella I had given her
"Thank you for the umbrella yoongi" she said with a smile
I said nothing, I just took the umbrella from her and walked away, my heart beating fast, Jungkook was right her voice, her smile was just perfect, but why did she hide it before? She has changed, completely changed..
