her friend pouted, tilting his head

she looked at him and sniffed

wiping the tears that were falling from her eyes

"forget about him
he's not worth
the tears that
you shed"

jimin stood up and stretched his arms out

"tell you what
i'll treat you with
some ice cream
today"

he took her hand and pulled her up

giving her a reassuring smile

"and you know i'll
always be by your side
i promise"

she smiled sadly

her eyes darting towards the distance

"i don't think i believe in promises anymore"
