I finally opened my eyes. As I wake up from my deep sleep I realise that its 8 o'clock. But I should not be in hurry. I have quit from school and from work. Yesterday was my 17th birthday and that was my last day working at that bar. Working for the people who want to find the one that called 'happiness'. It is a fun work, working as a bartender with other young bartender that care with you and quite have same problem. But the accident yesterday make me quit from my fun work. Because of that guy.
"It seems that today we have a special event at this bar." I asked Rosè who is still cleaning some glasses. "Yes it is. To celebrate your birthday for sure" "what the" I stopped and take a look to Rosè that smiling to me right now. "You remember my birthday huh? " I am so shocked as there is no people remember the important date of my life. Yes nobody. Even my family don't care about it. Rosè smile and hold my hand and I could feel a long metal thing in my hand right now. I put down my head and look for the gift that Rosè give me. It is a beautiful necklace with a locket that said my name. "I'm your sister now right. I remember it. And this is for you" "but...." "Just take it. Let's continue our work. The boys was setup for the DJ that will come to this bar today." I nodded as I have know about it. "The DJ was the rising DJ in this area. He is tall, good looking and multi talented. He is so boyfriend material. And he is quite well known now if you ask any teenagers in this Hongdae area. " "uh okay" I replied with no reaction as I don't feel interested to that guy because I believe that the guy will be so arrogant as he is so famous.
The event has started at 10 and we don't have time to rest as there is a lot of people come. For 4hours I'm so busy standing, walking, pouring and serving for people. This usual bar has turned to a 5star club. I then could relaxed as I hear nothing but only girls sighing as the show finally comes to an end. As I am about to take a seat three girls with a really mini-dress came. How relieved that they doesn't ask for anything and i could have a rest. That three girls really annoyed me with their story about how cool is that guy a.k.a the DJ. I then moved to another side. A guy came and ask for coke. I quite shocked as he is only asked for coke. As I'm so tired I slackly make the guy shirt wet as the coke spill over. I quickly said sorry and ran out from the bar corner to the guy's seat with a tissue to clean his shirt. I think I have said sorry for 300 hundred times today. Without any signal I then feel a hot feeling in my face as my face turned red after he suddenly kiss me in my forehead. With that tired feeling mixed with the anger feeling that he made, I stand straight and push him back. I throw the tissue that I used to wipe his shirt to his face. Suddenly a girl from the three annoying girl just now scream and point at me as if I have killed someone. They suddenly comes to me and push me back until I couldn't balance myself. A girl then take the glass of the balance coke that spill early to my face. "Who you think you are to being rude to Kuanlin!!" Without any patient left in me I slap that rude girl. "What the fuck are you doing bitch! He is the one who is being rude and I am the one who is wrong. Fuck off! " I grab her blonde hair and pulled it as strong as I can to relieve my feeling. Suddenly I feel so happy to hear she scream in pain. Another girl from her squad who is about to clean that Kuanlin shirt with her friend comes to me and hardly tried to let go my hand from grabbing her friend's hair. I realised that everybody's eyes was on me after I slap that girl. Rosè comes to me and take me away. The battle between me and that weak blonde girl has end but it still not over yet. A tongues battle is about to start as a short green hair girl open her mouth and began her words with all of the swear words that she knows. "Hey you little stupid bullshit bartender. You don't know who we are and how you can easily hurt Chaeyoung. If I asked you to paid for the treatment of her hair. Can you paid for it huh? If you are about to paid for Chaeyoung hair treatment I think it will make you suffer and you will be starving for a week I guess?" The audience of our battle started to cheer on the girl. And I believe they all are on her side. Rosè bow to said sorry for my side but I take her body back and let go of her hand that block me from the battle. "If you asked me to paid for this Chaeyoung hair treatment., I will never do it as I know that it could be a waste to treat a mop-like hair that will never could be fix." After I take quite a brave step to protect myself from being degraded, I could hear that people start to cheer on me and want more from this battle as they said all together in rhyme 'go Nancy go Nancy'. Uh finally I got to know the name of this shitty people, thanks to the sudden introduction by the crowd. "So Nancy why so quiet, is that the meaning that you agree with my statement that this Chaeyoung hair is same to that mop? And is this a trend to plant grass on your head instead of hair.?" I think I could win this battle but suddenly a girl that I still don't know her name shout. "Where is the owner of this place?how can this rude bartender got her work here? I think customers comes first but not in this bar huh? I think this bar motto is become rude to the customers. So people let's not come here again." A running footsteps from the stair on my left side caught my attention it is because the owner of this bar has come just like what the girl want. I could see Mr. Kwon face was full with questions. As he comes nearer I started to look at the floor. "What's going on here girls? " "Please fired this rude bartender from working with you?" Hoony, my second bestfriend here pat my back while Rosè hold my hands with nervous about what will gonna happen to me. I know that bad things are going to happen as he is so strict about protecting his bar. Mr. Kwon look at me and said "please go home and don't ever dare to come to this bar anymore to work. " He then take out his wallet and give me my salary for the week that i've work for him this month. I take that money and with heavy feeling I left the bar. I see their face was damn happy that they have win. I walked back home and take a sleep with a very anger feeling. I don't feel so sad that I have no work right now because I still have money to live well by myself as all the important things to paid is had been paid off. And now I think I should take a deep sleep and starts my day with a new chapter.
I changed my pyjamas to a simple outfit to go to the nearest convenience store. I walk alone and I see a lot of students coming back from school. As I arrived I go to the ramen corner and I also searching for my favourite chocolate. As I looking I suddenly see a figure that I think I know pass by and head to the drinks corner. Yes I know him. He is that Kuanlin the cool DJ last night. And it shocked me that he is wearing a high school uniform. So that is the reason that he is ordering coke a non alcoholic drinks last night. I shake my head as the accident last night comes to my head. I comes nearer to him to take revenge from what he has done to me. I grab his shoulder and he is now exactly in front of me. 1:1
