A few minutes have passed while we were in the dorm. A moment spent in silence. Manifesting our weapons really took it out of us. Y'know out of all of our manifestations, Daniel's is still making me think. Why was he kicked out of his home? If it was because he was an Incarnate, then wouldn't his parents have turned him in? What could've been the reason? There are a lot of things a teenager could do to be kicked out. "Daniel, why did you get kicked out of your home?" I asked. Daniel was silent. "I believe it was quite obvious that he doesn't want to speak about it." David said in defense of Daniel. "But, I believe someone said that we're a team and since we are a team, we should get to know each other better." I said somewhat quoting Daniel. "Well maybe this is something personal that he doesn't want to speak about." David said. "No, it's fine." Daniel finally spoke. "You want to know so badly, huh?" Daniel asked. Daniel sighed. "It's not really that big of a deal." Daniel said. Everyone listened in. "I got kicked out because *mutter*" Daniel said something under his breath. "I'm sorry." Morana said. "But, could you please repeat that?" Cano finished Morana's sentence. Daniel took a deep breath in and exhaled. "I got kicked out, because I'm...I'm gay." Daniel said. No one said anything. "The house was empty since my parents were out on a trip, and I didn't know when they would come back, but I thought I had at least a few more days, so I called my boyfriend over and we fooled around a bit, but then my parents came home early, and my dad came in my room just as we finished. He scared my boyfriend off, told me to pack my things, and leave." Daniel said. "So that's the full story?" Jessie asked. Daniel nodded. David looked at Daniel or at least I think he was, he was still wearing his blindfold. "Heh, I guess I kinda forgot about that day. The feeling I felt that day was...so horrible. I never wanted to feel that way again." Daniel said. David got in front of Daniel and placed his hands on Daniels shoulders. David took off his blindfold to reveal his yellow eyes. "You're here now, with us, we wont hold anything against you." David said. "Please, we're a team, so don't withhold anything anymore, okay?" David asked. I've never seen David take off his blindfold, or seem so sincere. Daniel nodded. David put his blindfold back on. Suddenly I heard the intercom turn on. It was the Incarnate intercom that could only be heard by Incarnates. "Students, every team has finished manifesting their weapons, so please return to the Manifest Room." Ms. Starr on the intercom said. Everyone looked at each other and nodded. We left for the Manifest Room.
