"I need to go get a pregnancy test," I said. "Let's go."

I walked out of the bathroom and Henry followed.

On the way to the drug store, we passed my house, and Cole's work car was gone. That meant he was going to be gone for a few days.

"I'll probably sleep at home tonight," I told Henry. "Cole's gone for a while."

"You sure you'll be okay?" Henry asked. "I mean, one of us can stay with you if you want."

"I'll be okay," I said.

"Well, make sure you call one of us if your not," Henry said.

"Henry, I'll be alone," I laughed. "It's fine."

"Well... technically you're not alone," Henry said slowly, looking at my stomach.

"Henry," I scolded. "I don't even know for sure yet."

Henry shrugged. "I'm sorry."

"I mean, it's okay. I'm just nervous," I said.

"Are you going to keep it?" Henry asked.

"I don't really wanna talk about it," I said quickly.

"Okay, sorry," Henry said.

When we arrived at the drug store, I headed straight for the pregnancy tests. Henry headed in the other direction.

I bought three, one of each kind and went to the register to pay for them. Mr. Keene the creep was waiting there.

"One second," he said nicely before disappearing into the back room.

"Hi, Greta," I said, looking at the large girl sitting behind the counter.

Greta stood up and looked at what I was holding.

"Someone's been a bad girl," Greta snickered.

I ignored her.

"Are you being a little slut again?" Greta asked.

"Are you?" I spat back quickly.

"Fuck off, Greta," Henry said, walking up to the register. "Remember what I said would happen if you messed with her again?"

Greta gulped, Henry could be really scary when he wanted to be.

"What are you gonna do, Bowers? Hit a girl?" Greta asked sarcastically.

"Good afternoon," Mr. Keene said as he came back.

I put the tests down on the bench.

"Oh," Mr Keene said, inspecting them.

"Are these for you?" Mr Keene asked.

"I don't think that's any of your business," Henry said.

"I was just wondering," Mr Keene said, taken aback.

He slowly bagged them while looking me in the eye, I backed closer to Henry who was death staring Greta.

"Let's go," I said before Henry could start a fight.

I pulled Henry out.

"I hate Greta so much," Henry said.

"Me too," I agreed.

"What a bitch," Henry said.

"Just ignore her next time," I warmed.

"Why? She can't just get away with that," Henry said.

"She's not worth it, Henry," I said seriously.

"Well, here's my house," I said as we approached my house. "I'll probably see you at Vic's tomorrow."
